Fantasy Football Trade Advice

Players to Trade

Kenyan Drake (RB – BAL)
Kenyan Drake had a top-five performance in Week 6, scoring 19.2 half-point PPR fantasy points. However, the veteran running back played 58% of the snaps last week compared to 24% over the first five games of the year. J.K. Dobbins only played 27% of the snaps last week because of tightness in his knee, leading to more work for Drake. Meanwhile, Gus Edwards could make his season debut next week, pushing Drake down the depth chart. Take advantage of the point-chasing league mate and ship Drake off for a high-upside running back like Kyren Williams.

Allen Robinson (WR – LAR)
Van Jefferson will be back soon to steal some targets, Tyler Higbee wasn’t fully healthy in this last game, which lead to Robinson catching a season-high five receptions. Sell him while you can. We just saw his best game of the season. You’ve been waiting weeks for this exact moment: your chance to sell Allen Robinson. Coming off his first good game, Robinson’s value will never be higher. Tom Brady (QB – TB)
Jared Goff, who just came off of his bye, and a backup at another position, like James Robinson or Rondale Moore, for depth. I think the future for Brady is very uncertain, and I just want off this ride myself. In SuperFlex leagues, you can probably get more, but be sure to find the right buyer before giving him away for pennies. Brady is struggling right now. If I roster Brady, I’m actively shopping him before the wheels entirely come off and a mythical “elbow injury” causes him to retire again. I’d be happy sending him away for Jared Goff, who just came off his bye, and a backup at another position, like James Robinson or Rondale Moore, for depth. Gabe Davis (WR – BUF)
Michael Pittman or Courtland Sutton away from a league mate for Davis, I don’t think you’ll regret it most weeks. If you trade Gabe Davis, there will be a couple of weeks when you will rue the decision. However, you’ll likely feel good about it over the remaining weeks. Of course, it depends on what you get in return, but if you can get a player who will deliver on a more consistent basis, I’d consider it. Davis is as explosive as it gets, but he’s averaging less than three catches per game. Four of his 14 catches on the season have gone for TDs — a rate that can’t sustain. He’s a big play machine, but when those plays don’t materialize, he can lay an egg, as he did in Weeks 3 and 4. The Bills’ schedule tightens up, too, with only three plus matchups remaining for wide receivers. If you can lure someone like Michael Pittman or Courtland Sutton away from a league mate for Davis, I don’t think you’ll regret it most weeks.
