Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Jameis Winston deemed doubtful to play Sunday
According to John DeShazier of NewOrleansSaints.com, QB Jameis Winston is doubtful to play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. (Source: John DeShazier on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: QB Andy Dalton was announced to be receiving the start, and Winston will be doubtful to suit up. Winston did not practice this week, and this will likely mean TE/QB Taysom Hill will be the Saints’ backup QB again against Seattle.
Curtis Samuel (illness) ‘looks good’ at practice Friday
Ron Rivera said Curtis Samuel looked good today back at practice after dealing with the flu. (Source: Ben Standig on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Samuel returned after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to the flu. Players can typically play even when missing practice due to being sick, so Samuel will likely be on the field this weekend against the Titans. He and Terry McLaurin should see more of the target share with Jahan Dotson (hamstring) sidelined.
Rashod Bateman (foot) out for Week 5
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Baltimore Ravens have ruled out WR Rashod Bateman for Sunday night’s contest against the Bengals. (Source: Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: With RB Justice Hill also out, this could mean the Ravens heavily lean on the running game tandem of QB Lamar Jackson and RB J.K. Dobbins. In the receiving game, though, this upgrades TE Mark Andrews as well as WR Devin Duvernay, who could be a sneaky flex option.
Brian Robinson Jr. (leg) to see how he feels Saturday
Ron Rivera said they will see how Brian Robinson feels tomorrow and if he’s good to go, they’ll activate him. (Source: Nicki Jhabvala on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Robinson was officially designated to return to practice this past week. Whether he returns this weekend or potentially the week after, the Commanders will likely ease him back into action early on.
