Fantasy Football Injury Updates

D’Andre Swift questionable for Week 7

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, RB D’Andre Swift is officially questionable for Week 7 against Dallas. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Dallas’ defense has been one of the strongest all season, though they struggled to contain Philadelphia’s ground game. If Swift is healthy, he will likely see heavy usage if the Lions hope to keep up with QB Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. He missed Week 5 and has a bye in Week 6, so after being limited in practice, it seems that he may be on pace to return.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) practices, remains questionable for Sunday

Keenan Allen has been listed as questionable for the Chargers Week 7 matchup with the Seahawks. (Source: Los Angeles Chargers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Allen got in a limited practice on Friday just as he did all week, and should be on the right side of questionable heading into Sunday. Assuming he makes his return and remains setback free, Allen will immediately be a WR2 once again as Justin Herbert’s favorite target and security blanket. The Seahawks pass defense is bad.

Tyler Lockett (hamstring) listed questionable for Sunday

Tyler Lockett was listed as questionable for the Seahawks as they gear up to take on the Chargers in Week 7. (Source: Around The NFL on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lockett popped up on the injury report with a hamstring issue prior to the Week 6 matchup with the Cardinals but ultimately ended up playing. The fact that he was unable to get even one practice in this week is at least a bit concerning for his Sunday prospects. Lockett is most likely on the wrong side of questionable to play at this point. Fantasy managers need to have back up options ready to go for the 4:25 PM EST kickoff.

Dak Prescott off injury report, slated to start

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, QB Dak Prescott is off the Dallas Cowboys’ injury report and set to play. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Prescott has not played since Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he suffered a thumb injury that has left him sidelined. Even though he had a rough season debut, Prescott should be seen as a starting QB option in a Dallas offense that has seemed to find its groove with QB Cooper Rush at the helm. Dallas’ passing weapons all receive an upgrade heading forward.
