Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Dak Prescott (thumbs) says he’s starting Sunday
Dak Prescott (thumb) informed reporters that he plans to start Sunday’s contest against the Lions after being medically cleared to return earlier this week. (Source: Jane Slater on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy managers who’ve been stashing Dak should feel good about starting him in his return to action as he faces a Lions’ team that is giving up the fifth most points to opposing QBs on average this season.
Jonathan Taylor (ankle) a full participant in Thursday’s practice
Jonathan Taylor (ankle) appears on track to play on Sunday after another full day of practice on Thursday. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Though it’s not confirmed, fantasy managers should feel confident that their star RB will be back in action this weekend. The Titans held Taylor in check in their last meeting and are pretty good against the run. However, you’re not benching Taylor if he’s active.
J.K. Dobbins (knee) misses second practice
According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, RB J.K. Dobbins missed his second practice in a row for the Baltimore Ravens. (Source: Jamison Hensley on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Dobbins saw limited action in Week 6 when an injury flared up, and he has now missed back-to-back practices. RB Kenyan Drake seemed to be the next man up with RB Justice Hill inactive, but RB Gus Edwards is set to return soon to the active roster after starting the year injured.
Mark Andrews (knee) misses Thursday’s practice
According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, TE Mark Andrews missed his second consecutive practice. On Wednesday, Ravens’ coach John Harbaugh called it a rest day. (Source: Jamison Hensley on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: It is a concern that he missed his second day, even if the first day was called a rest day. Friday’s practice report status could make or break Andrews’ status for the week. If Andrews plays, he’s an automatic start. If he misses, TE Isaiah Likely could be a waiver pickup in deeper leagues.
