Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) cleared for Week 3

Fantasy Impact: Pittman totaled nine catches, 121 yards, and one touchdown in Week 1 but did not play last week. Presumably, his return will give the Colts’ offense a big boost following their winless start. Pittman ranks as a fringe top-12 receiver in fantasy football this week.

Fantasy Impact: Brady’s injury appeared on the injury report Friday, but also was seen shaking his hand in the team’s Week 2 win over New Orleans. Despite the injury, he should still be seen as a fringe QB1 in most formats. Brady currently ranks as the QB13 in ECR, according to FantasyPros.

D’Andre Swift (ankle) questionable for Week 3

Fantasy Impact: Swift did not practice on Wednesday but was able to log limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. After being listed as questionable last week, he produced 56 rushing yards, 31 receiving yards, and on touchdown. Thus, there is reason to believe that he will both play and be effective in Week 3.

T.J. Hockenson (hip) questionable for Week 3

T.J. Hockenson (hip) remained limited in practice on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. (Source: Kevin Seifert on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Hockenson has seen a high snap share and an impressive 14 targets this season, but it has translated to a mere seven catches and 64 yards. Quite simply, the Lions have worked to prioritize Amon-Ra St. Brown and D’Andre Swift over Hockenson. As a result, he should be viewed as a low-end TE1.
