Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Jaylen Waddle returns to practice Monday, ready for Week 1

Jaylen Waddle returned to practice on Monday after missing multiple weeks with a ”soft tissue” injury to his lower body and Dolphins’ coach Mike McDaniel said “he will be fine” for Week 1 according to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson. (Source: Barry Jackson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Waddle’s active status for Week 1 is all but set and he will start alongside Tyreek Hill in one of the more explosive receiving duos in the NFL. Waddle experienced a breakout rookie campaign racking up 1,015 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 104 catches last season. Waddle will look to build on his rookie season with Hill, in theory, taking defensive attention away and allowing him to get open more in space.

Drake London returns to practice

Fantasy Impact: London’s Week 1 status was in question after not being spotted during the open portions of Falcons’ practices lately. The 21-year-old should see a heavy target share with the suspension of Calvin Ridley. London currently sits at WR39 in ECR, according to FantasyPros.

Tee Higgins returns to practice

Fantasy Impact: Higgins status for Week 1 was in doubt since he sat out the preseason and logged limited practice time. The 23-year-old registered 1,091 yards and six touchdowns on 74 receptions in 2021. Higgins currently ranks as the WR13 in ECR, according to FantasyPros.

Rondale Moore returns to practice

Rondale Moore returned to practice Monday. Last week, head coach Kliff Kingsbury listed Moore as a close call for Week 1 with an undisclosed injury. (Source: Josh Weinfuss on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Moore registered 435 yards and one touchdown on 54 receptions in 2021. Recent reports have stated that the Cardinals are going to look at getting Moore more involved by working out of the backfield this season. Moore currently sits at WR54 in ECR and could easily outplay that with DeAndre Hopkins suspension and an increased workload in the running game.
