Fantasy Impact: Brown is reportedly expecting the birth of his second child “at any moment” so it is possible that is the reason for his absence. The status of Brown will be worth monitoring on Thursday and Friday at practice.

Fantasy Impact: Head coach Matt Rhule stated that the team did not know about the quad injury until after the Saints’ game. Rhule added he would not speculate on his status for this week but will see what he can do in practice Thursday. If McCaffrey is unable to go in Week 4, Chuba Hubbard and D’Onta Foreman should see additional work out of the backfield.

Dalvin Cook (shoulder) day-to-day

Fantasy Impact: Cook is still considered day to day for Sunday. They’ll try to get him some work at least in walk-thrus this week before making a decision on whether he will play vs Saints. Alexander Mattison will be a borderline must start if Cook is sidelined.
