With the final set of preseason games on Sunday, we come to the end of the journey with our DFS preseason slates. With real football right around the corner, we have one final shot at making some extra cash to fund our bankroll for the season. This slate is limited, as we only have two games to draft players from, but we have some prime plays from a player pool looking to fight for a spot on these NFL rosters. The two games we are drafting from on this slate are Giants-Jets and Lions-Steelers. Let’s break down some players that can help you make extra cash today.

Remember, this is the final week of the preseason, which means the end of the roster gets most of the playing time. Last week, Webb completed 22-of-27 pass attempts for 204 yards and two touchdowns. This week, Webb faces off against a New York Jets team that allowed the sixth-most DraftKings points and the fourth-most yards to the quarterback position in 2021.
Alex Bachman is a punt play that you can attach to Webb. Webb and Bachman have built a little chemistry this preseason and found the end zone together last week. There is a possibility of more joint production as both players fight for their spot on the NFL roster.
The New York Jets struggled mightily last season against the run. This struggle pushed the Jets to the worst in the league for fantasy points allowed to running backs, and they became an easy target on DraftKings in 2021. Williams rushed five times and caught all seven of his targets last week. Williams was also impressive in his first preseason game. With Saquon Barkley and Matt Brieda taking limited snaps this game, expect Williams to carry the load and get a high volume of touches, which equates to fantasy gold in the preseason.
Gunner Olszewski is a “punt” play for this slate. The Steelers will see limited snaps to their Big Three (Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and George Pickens) in the wide receiver corps. They also have Calvin Austin dealing with injury and veteran Miles Boykin dropping from 41% of snaps in preseason Week 1 to 14% in the last preseason game. This combination can allow for the veteran Olszewski to pad some stats.
Craig Reynolds is a veteran who has been given time in important NFL games for the Detroit Lions. He is fighting for the third running back spot against Justin Jackson. However, the Steelers’ defense allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs last season, allowing for Reynolds to produce in your lineup.
We are also looking at Justin Jackson, considering the Lions’ offensive coordinator stated he wants to “showcase” Jackson in this game. Jackson also had a game-high 54 rushing yards last week and is a veteran who has produced in important NFL moments in the past. Using both backs could allow you to take advantage of the Steelers’ propensity for bleeding points to the running back position.
We are looking at another “punt” play with Myarick. The Lions allowed the ninth-most points to tight ends and the second-most yards to the position; Myarick has a chance to fall in the end zone and produce some fantasy points for us.
