Fantasy Football Mock Draft: 12-Team, Half-PPR (2022)

I’m particularly stoked about sharing this mock draft because .5PPR is the scoring format my longest-running home league uses.

Though I’m sure some of my league mates will see this, it’s still worth running and sharing!

To fully match my home league’s format, I added another flex because if your league is still only running one flex… do better!

Anyway, here’s the board and I’ll go through some of my notable picks.

Now’s the time to try your new secret weapon for your draft: Draft Intel! Draft Intel analyzes up to 5 years of drafts and breaks down all your league-mates’ draft tendencies. 1.04: My top four are pretty clear in PPR and .5PPR formats: Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler and Justin Jefferson.

2.09: I wasn’t super amped about a timeshare running back or James Conner here, so I went CeeDee Lamb. I’m looking at him ascending to a true, perennial WR1 now that he’s the top dog in Dallas.

3.04: I’m totally team wait-on-TE-and-QB but Mark Andrews feels like he fell big time, getting him at pick 28.

4.09: This was my toughest pick to this point. I have Elijah Mitchell, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Josh Jacobs and AJ Dillon close together in my rankings but I decided to see if one fell to my next pick. I chased upside with Courtland Sutton.

7.04: I think Rashaad Penny’s ADP will skyrocket as we loom closer to the reality of Kenneth Walker actually missing time, but until then, I’m happy with Seattle’s RB1 in the seventh.

10.09: Tyler Boyd is a player I’m targeting everywhere. He’s got an attractive ADP considering he’s a slot receiver for Joe Burrow and the Bengals. If Tee Higgins or Ja’Marr Chase misses any time, Boyd enters every week starter consideration.

13.04: Listen, I am avoiding Tom Brady just as much as anyone else, but at this ADP? Come on. I can pair him up with another QB for automatic QB1 performance.
