ADP Outliers On Different Draft Platforms (2022 Fantasy Football)

ADP Outliers On Different Draft Platforms (2022 Fantasy Football)

In sports betting, you’re told to shop the best lines. But you can do the same in fantasy football. I’ve collected aggregate ADP based on sources from eight fantasy football websites and identified the best prices of fantasy’s top players based on the draft platform.

There’s a stark difference with some players’ ADPs that you can take full advantage of based on where you draft your fantasy football team this August/September.

Let’s dive into 15 names that stuck out to me when analyzing the early August ADPs.

Fantasy Football Redraft Draft Kit

Yahoo ADP Outliers

Christian McCaffrey (RB – CAR)

Think CMC will finally stay healthy this season? Well, the folks on Yahoo surely don’t with his ADP 5th overallthe lowest among any site.

Justin Jefferson (WR – MIN)

If you are a Justin Jefferson advocate like myself, you’ll also love to know he can be had on Yahoo as the 7th player overall. In fact, he’s only being drafted top-5 in best ball league formats. Maybe the summer degenerates are onto something.

Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL)

As I discussed in my perfect draft guide, I want Kyle Pitts in Round 3. I’m giddy knowing he’s often available in Round 4 on ESPN, FFC and Yahoo.

ESPN ADP Outliers

Travis Kelce (TE – KC)

I’ll admit that I am not the highest on Travis Kelce, but his ADP on ESPN is glaring19th overall in PPR scoring. And he sometimes goes as late as 22nd overall.

Saquon Barkley (RB – NYG)

Want to buy the Saquon Barkley bounce back? Do it on ESPN. His ADP is still in Round 328th overall.

Travis Etienne Jr. (RB – JAX)

ETN’s mean ADP is 41 when you remove his ESPN ADP of 59th overall. The 5th or 6th round for him is highway robbery.

A.J. Dillon (RB – GB)

Dillon owns an ADP of 66 or lower on all draft platforms except for ESPN. 96th overall. For a running back that led his team in red-zone carries during the second half of last season.

Sleeper ADP Outliers

Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN)

The NFL’s reigning offensive rookie of the year is being slept on — ironically on the Sleeper platform. His ADP is 9th overall.

Michael Pittman Jr. (WR – IND)

The Colts No. 1 wide receiver seems like a consensus breakout candidate. But Sleeper isn’t buying the hype. Michael Pittman Jr.’s ADP is 43rd overall. I’ll gladly take him in Round 3.

Underdog ADP Outliers

Cam Akers (RB – LAR)

More coach-speak about Darrell Henderson Jr. will drive Cam Akers’ ADP down. His Underdog ADP is already dwindling (46th overall). We are potentially entering “Sean McVay’s RB1 is available in Round 5” territory.

Antonio Gibson (RB – WAS)

You probably shouldn’t draft Antonio Gibson in the first four rounds in your home league. Too many red flags. But on Underdog at 78th overall? I’ll buy that discount.

Mike Williams (WR – LAC)

Mike Williams’ ADP is 30th overall on Underdog. It’s 49th everywhere else — a must-draft guy in Round 4.

Courtland Sutton (WR – DEN)

Courtland Sutton’s ADP is 35th overall on Underdog. It’s 58th everywhere else. Fantasy football doesn’t have to be hard. Draft Sutton anywhere between Rounds 4-5. I’d even take him in Round 3, although it seems like that may not be required with the market.

FFC ADP Outliers

Breece Hall (RB – NYJ)

Potential bell-cow back? No thanks, says the FFC. 56th overall is an egregious price for the Jets rookie RB. Pretty cheap on ESPN as well, in the back of Round 4 (44th).

Fantrax ADP Outliers

J.K. Dobbins (RB – BAL)

It might be worth it to join a league on Fantrax just to get the J.K. Dobbins value. 81st overall. Nobody else has him lower than 61 (Underdog).
