Willson Contreras X-rays are negative

Fantasy Impact: In the eighth inning, Contreras was hit in the high ankle area by a T.J. McFarland errant pitch. The negative X-rays are good news for fantasy managers because the 30-year-old backstop has been on a tear this season, slashing .278/.401/.931 with nine home runs.

Jacob deGrom (shoulder) progressing as planned

Fantasy Impact: deGrom was going to travel with the Mets to Southern California for these next 10 games, but that plan has changed as he is back in New York. He has yet to throw off a mound, but it still sounds like he is making progress.

Clayton Kershaw (pelvis) to go on rehab assignment Sunday

Max Muncy (elbow) scheduled to go on rehab assignment this weekend

Fantasy Impact: Muncy recently took batting practice and he will now see live action this weekend on his rehab assignment. He could return to the Dodgers later this month barring any setbacks.
