Let’s take a look at the latest injury news and notes around fantasy baseball. And check out all of our latest injury news on our fantasy baseball news desk.

Bryce Harper (forearm) could return to lineup Friday

Phillies manager Joe Girardi said OF Bryce Harper could “be back Friday” after being scratched Wednesday with forearm soreness as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Alex Coffey.

Fantasy Impact: Girardi said Harper’s soreness “was more muscular than anything else” and expects “with a good day of treatment [Thursday] he’ll be back Friday.” The Phillies do not believe the soreness is related to the PRP injection Harper recently received for his UCL injury. Monitor his status before Friday’s game but it appears for now Harper is expected to return then.

Fantasy Impact: Rodriguez was cruising before leaving the game, only allowing two hits while striking out four. He left with right lat discomfort and the Orioles should update if further testing will be required.

Fantasy Impact: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said there are discussions about Kershaw pitching a rehab assignment this weekend. It isn’t clear if he’ll only need one rehab start or multiple starts. If all goes well in his first rehab start, he could be back with the Dodgers by next week. Kershaw made his last start on May 7.
