Carlos Correa placed on COVID IL
Twins SS Carlos Correa has been placed on the IL after testing positive for COVID-19 according to MLB.com’s Do-Hyoung Park. (Source: Do-Hyoung Park on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Correa tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday and has reportedly not been feeling well since. Once he is asymptomatic, he may still need some recovery time before returning. The Twins called up Jermaine Palacios from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move to provide infield depth with Correa sidelined although it remains to be seen who will take over everyday duties at shortstop with Jorge Polanco and Nick Gordon in the mix.

Tim Anderson placed on 10-day IL on Tuesday
Tim Anderson has officially been placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained right groin on Tuesday (retroactive to May 30). (Source: Daryl Van Schouwen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Confirming previous reports, the White Sox have placed Anderson on the 10-day injured list after the shortstop injured his groin, fielding a grounder in the outfield during Sunday’s game against the Cubs. This is a really tough loss for both the White Sox and fantasy managers as Anderson was hitting an excellent .356/.393/.503 over 163 at-bats.

Luis Robert activated from COVID-19 IL on Tuesday
Luis Robert has been activated from the COVID-19 related injured list and will rejoin the White Sox starting lineup for their Tuesday afternoon’s game against the Blue Jays. (Source: Daryl Van Schouwen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Robert was placed on the injured list on May 24 and ended up missing five games due to illness. His return to the White Sox is extremely welcome as his teammate Tim Anderson has just been placed on the 10-day injured list with a groin strain. Fantasy managers should get Robert back in their lineup immediately as he has had a great start to the season, hitting .285 with six home runs, 17 RBI, and six stolen bases.
