Dynasty IDP Rookie Prospect Profile
Kyle Hamilton is the top safety in this year’s class. He combines length and coverage skills with speed (even though his combine 40 was not as good as expected). Hamilton should rack up tackles as an NFL defensive back and could even throw in some sacks since he rushes well. Jeremy Chinn and Isiah Simmons are recent examples of players who floated between the S and LB positions at the NFL level due to their size and skillsets. Hamilton could be used in a similar fashion depending upon his landing spot. Draft him for tackles, and you should be pleased with the returns, and if he gets dual eligibility, rejoice!

Landing Spot and Dynasty Outlook
Kyle Hamilton - Baltimore Ravens, Pick 14
Kyle Hamilton is the safest player in this draft in my opinion and the Ravens needed some help at the Safety position. Hamilton is a ‘do it all’ type of Safety that will come up and make a TFL or stay back in coverage and make a play on the ball. Hamilton can also play CB or LB in certain sets and should be a Day 1 everydown player for a Ravens defense that needs a boost.
