Scott Bogman, host of the FantasyPros Dynasty Football Podcast and IDP Podcast, teamed with Joe Pisapia, co-host of the IDP Podcast, to provide dynasty rookie profiles for IDP players. They break down the top names of the 2022 NFL Draft class as you prepare for your dynasty rookie and startup drafts.
Dynasty IDP Rookie Prospect Profile
Jaquan Brisker is a lot of fun to watch. He’s always around the ball and brings the pain when he gets to the ballcarrier. Brisker was moved all over the place for Penn State. He covered the slot and played deep free safety but was mainly used as a box safety. Brisker has good speed, obviously has excellent football instincts (as evidenced by his ability to play many different roles), and can make a play on the ball. He could use more seasoning in zone schemes if he’s going to play mostly deep, but that and being a little underweight are the only real knocks on him. Brisker would be a great special teamer, but hopefully he’ll have a significant enough role to start on defense and be an immediate contributor in IDP leagues.

Landing Spot and Dynasty Outlook
Jaquan Brisker – Chicago Bears, Pick 48
The Bears taking Brisker is very good for his landing spot but it also frees up Eddie Jackson to play Free Saftey and go after the ball. Brisker will be the primary Box Saftey and will eat up any tackle that Roquan Smith doesn’t get. Eddie Jackson is signed through 2025 so the Bears probably envision him and Brisker as the starting Saftey tandem moving forward.
