Beavers will be considered the ‘grinder’ in this class. Even though he’s a good athlete, he isn’t the elite-level athlete these other LB prospects are. Beavers started his College career at UConn and worked his way up to a starter on the first G5 team to make the CFP ever. Beavers is a good athlete with unbelievable instincts and a very high-level football IQ. He’s always in the correct spot presnap, which makes him on the same level even if he is a step behind the other LBs and has size at 6’3″. Beavers probably isn’t a plug-and-play starter from day one, but he started at UConn and ended up as a starter for Cincinnati in the playoffs. His ceiling is very high.
