Dynasty IDP Rookie Prospect Profile
Chad Muma is one of my favorite players from this class because of his relentless motor. Muma is always around the ball and really went buck in 2021 with 142 total tackles and 3 INTs. Muma isn’t the most physical LB, he can get taken out of a play by an RB or TE on occasion, but he will put his nose into any situation. Muma plays faster than his 40 time, especially in coverage, and was the heartbeat of the Cowboy’s defense on the field and the sideline. Muma might slip in the draft as he could be a little scheme specific to a mainly 4-3 front with some blockers in front of him to allow him to fit in gaps against the run or drop on passing downs. Muma should eventually be a big-time contributor for IDP leagues.

Raekwon McMillan
Landing Spot and Dynasty Outlook
Chad Muma – Jacksonville Jaguars, Pick 70
I love Muma, but this landing spot looks tough for his value this year and possibly beyond. Muma has been a huge production guy over the last two seasons stacking high tackle totals (11.8 Tackles Per Game the last 2 seasons), but the Jags just signed Foyesade Oluokon and took Devin Lloyd in the 1st round. Muma will be in for 3 LB sets but will be firmly 3rd on the depth chart barring injury for the foreseeable future.
