Only two more days until the All-Star break! While I do love the NBA as much as anyone, it’s always nice to take a seat and watch the weekend festivities. It does have me motivated to close the first half strong, though, so let’s break down this vast Wednesday card!
After just seven games on Tuesday, we’re looking at 11 games for this Wednesday card. That means we have a million players to break down and tons of options to pick between. There will also be a ton of injury information dropped before the tip, but we’ll do our best to mention as much as possible before then!

Injury Report
Core Plays
DeMar DeRozan (SF/PF – CHI): $10,400 DraftKings, $10,500 FanDuel
DeRozan is quietly having an MVP-type season. The former Raptor has scored at least 28 raw points in eight straight games, dropping at least 46 DraftKings points in 17 consecutive outings. That’s a fantastic run of consistency, and we love that his usage is on the rise with LaVine out of the lineup. Facing Sacramento is sensational, too, with the Kings ranked 29th in both defensive efficiency and points allowed.
Pascal Siakam (PF – TOR): $9,300 DraftKings, $9,700 FanDuel
Siakam needs to be above $10K on both sites. This guy has scored at least 36 DraftKings points in 32 of his last 33 games, generating a 47-point average in that stretch. That’s truly amazing, and he could be asked to do even more here if VanVleet ends up sitting. Not to mention, Minnesota ranks third in pace and 21st in total defense.
Desmond Bane (SG/SF – MEM): $6,400 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
If Ja ends up sitting again, Bane needs to be in every lineup out there. He’s got a 29 percent usage rate with Morant off the floor, averaging nearly 40 DK points per game in the outings Morant has missed this season. That’s the production of an $8K player, and it should be easy for Bane to reach that threshold against a 28th-ranked Portland defense.
Cash Game Considerations
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $12,400 DraftKings, $11,300 FanDuel
Here we are again. The Joker is leading the NBA with 60 fantasy points per game, reaching at least 41 DK points in all but one game this season. That’s truly absurd, and it makes him the safest cash game play on every slate. The center position is one spot you can exploit this elite Golden State defense, too, with Jokic dropping a cool 61 DraftKings points on them in their one matchup earlier this season.
Nikola Vucevic (C – CHI): $9,900 DraftKings, $9,900 FanDuel
Vooch has really stepped up without LaVine and Ball. The big man has been doing much more playmaking, averaging 21.8 points, 12.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.4 blocks over his last 19 games played. That equates to a 47-point average, with Vooch reaching at least 45 DK points in 14 of those games. We already talked about how bad Sacramento’s defense is, surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers.
Seth Curry (PG/SG – BKN): $5,700 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
Curry was in this section for me on Monday, and all the same rules apply. With Irving, Durant and Simmons all out, Curry is the primary playmaker for the Nets. In his debut, Seth played 32 minutes and took 18 shots. More importantly, he tallied 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists en route to 39 DraftKings points. That means he should be $1,500 more on each site!
GPP Targets
Mitchell Robinson (C – BKN): $5,900 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel
This dude has been incredible since Nerlens Noel got injured. Mitch-Rob has at least 45 DK points in three of his last six games. He’s also had some stinkers, too, but that sort of upside from a $6K player is truly wild. The best part of this is facing Brooklyn, though, having one of the worst defenses since the calendar turned to 2022.
Andre Drummond (C – BKN): $5,800 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel
We all know that Drummond can be a $9K player when he gets the minutes. We have to believe he’s looking at a 20-30 minute role in Brooklyn, starting in his debut. This guy is averaging 1.4 DK points per minute for his career, and he’ll be a beast if he’s given any significant role. We also don’t mind that the Knicks surrender the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing centers, either.
Clint Capela (C – ATL): $5,300 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
Cap was a massive disappointment for us on Tuesday, but we’re going right back to the well. He played 31 minutes for the second straight game, and it looks like he’s a 30-minute player with Collins sidelined. If that’s the case, Cap is a good candidate for 15 points and 15 rebounds in this expanded role. We also love the matchup with Orlando, with the Magic maintaining a 28th OPRK against opposing centers.
Value Plays
Ayo Dosunmu (PG – CHI): $6,000 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
With Ball, Caruso, and LaVine all out in Chicago, Ayo is being forced to play 40 minutes a night. In fact, Dosunmu has been averaging 31 DK points per game across 38 minutes a night over the last 17 games. That’s hard to find from a $6K player, and we love that he’s playing point for this shorthanded team. Not to mention, the Kings surrender the second-most fantasy points to opposing guards.
Kemba Walker (PG – NYK): $4,600 DraftKings, $4,500 FanDuel
With R.J. Barrett injured and Immanuel Quickley struggling, Kemba has been doing much more recently. He’s played 26 minutes in back-to-back games, scoring at least 27 DK points in both of those. That’s amazing from a sub-$5K player, and it should continue with Brooklyn owning a 25th ORK against opposing point guards.
Bruce Brown (SG – BKN): $4,000 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Someone at DraftKings is sleeping on this price. Brown got a start for the shorthanded Nets on Monday, collecting 52 DK points across 38 minutes in one of the best per-dollar performances of the season. We don’t anticipate doing that again, but even half of that would make him a good value at just $4,000!
