Many eyes were fixated on the NFL yesterday, but the next few months are the NBA’s time to shine! Games will be happening every day until the All-Star break, and it’s a great time to hop in on some DFS! We had eight games on Sunday, and we have another large slate here!
We had eight games on Sunday and are running it back with another eight-game slate here. That’s an incredible amount for DFS purposes because it gives us plenty of players to pick from while not too many to be overwhelmed with. There’s a lot to discuss, though, so let’s get started with the schedule and odds!

Core Plays
Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $11,000 DraftKings, $9,300 FanDuel
Curry has been in a dreadful shooting slump for weeks, but this dude is still a monster. Even with the slump, he’s scored at least 41 DraftKings points in seven of his last eight games, getting his season average up to 47 DK points per game. We love that in this matchup, with Houston playing at the fastest pace in the NBA while ranked dead-last in points allowed and defensive efficiency,
C.J. McCollum (SG – POR): $7,600 DraftKings, $7,800FanDuel
McCollum has been a regular in this article since Dame went down, and we keep wondering when he’ll get above $8K. He’s deserved that price bump, scoring at least 38 fantasy points in five of his last six games. That’s the stud we’ve seen throughout his career, with C.J. generating a 32 percent usage rate with Lillard off the floor. We also love that he faces a Thunder team that’s surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.
Josh Giddey (SG – OKC): $7,300 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
This FanDuel price is insane. This dude was already playing at a $7K level, and he should be even better with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out for the next few weeks. That means Giddey should handle the ball on every possession and stuff the stat sheet even more than we’ve become accustomed to. The matchup with Portland is pristine, too, with the Trail Blazers ranked 27th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency.
Cash Game Considerations
Joel Embiid (C – PHI): $11,800 DraftKings, $11,400 FanDuel
Joel has skyrocketed up the MVP ladder over recent weeks, playing some of the best basketball of his career. The big man has scored at least 52 DraftKings points in eight of his last nine games, providing a 61-point average in that stretch. That makes him worth it at any salary, especially since he has a matchup with one of the other MVP frontrunners here as well.
Julius Randle (PF/C – NYK): $9,000 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel
Calling Randle a cash game option is a silly notion, but this pricing and matchup are too tasty to pass up. Julius was closer to $10K just a few weeks ago, and he probably should be in this matchup. We’re talking about a Kings team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency and 29th in points allowed. It’s not like Randle has been terrible either, still averaging 41 fantasy points per game. Even if you get that, Randle would be a fantastic value at these price tags.
Fred VanVleet (PG/SG – TOR): $8,700 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel
FVV’s price has dropped slightly, but it makes no sense why. The former Wichita guard has scored at least 35 DK points in 16 straight games, generating 48 DK points per game across 40 minutes a night in that span. That role alone is hard to overlook from a sub-$9K player, especially since he’s struggling with his shot. Just imagine how good he could be if he gets hot! Getting to face a 27th-ranked Atlanta defense only adds to his intrigue.
GPP Targets
Clint Capela (C – ATL): $6,300 DraftKings, $7,200 FanDuel
Man, it’s weird to see Capela this cheap. He’s traditionally been an $8K player throughout his career, and it’s just a matter of time before he gets back there. He’s still averaging 34 DraftKings points per game for the season and can easily provide a 15-15 game any given night. He was doing that in his three matchups with Toronto last season, scoring at least 43 DK points in each thanks to 17 points, 18.7 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game.
Kemba Walker (PG – NYK): $5,400 DraftKings, $4,500 FanDuel
It’s impossible to know what Kemba will do, but that’s why he’s in the GPP section. He’s scored at least 26 DK points in six of his last 11 games, averaging over 40 DK points per game in those six outings. That’s hard to believe with how cheap Walker is, but some of those stinkers have destroyed his value. Getting to face the Kings should help him get back to that good form, with the Kings surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards.
Richaun Holmes (C – SAC): $5,000 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
The Kings are really trying to kill this guy’s career. In any case, he was an $7K player last season and played at that level through the first 20 games of this year. Some injuries have butchered his value, but recently, his minutes have been creeping closer to 30. That’s all he needs to provide value at these prices, and he should get all the minutes he can handle against a big Knicks frontcourt.
Value Plays
Luke Kennard (SG – LAC): $5,000 DraftKings, $5,300 FanDuel
This is weird to say, but Kennard has been the Clippers best player over the last two weeks. He’s scored at least 26 DraftKings points in five straight fixtures, averaging over 35 fantasy points per game in that stretch. That’s a ridiculous total from a $5K player, and it should continue against an Indiana team that ranks 25th in defensive efficiency ratings.
Gabe Vincent (PG – MIA): $4,800 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel
Vincent has been starting at point guard with Lowry dealing with a personal issue, and he deserves a price bump. The man with the fro has scored at least 22 DK points in 16 of his 17 starts, averaging 27 DK points per game across 34 minutes a night. You really can’t ask for any more from such a cheap player, making him a great pairing with some of the aforementioned studs.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG – ATL): $4,700 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel
This DraftKings price is ludicrous. Bogdan is back, and he looks fully healthy! Bogey has scored at least 32 DK points in two of his three games since returning, seeing his minutes increase in each. As long as he plays the 25-30 minutes we’ve been seeing, Bogdanovic should be a $6K player on both sites.
Advantageous Pricing
- Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $11,000 DraftKings, $9,300 FanDuel
- Trae Young (PG – ATL): $10,000 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel
- Darius Garland (PG – CLE): $9,100 DraftKings, $8,100 FanDuel
- Duncan Robinson (SG- MIA): $4,800 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel
- Josh Giddey (SG – OKC): $7,300 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
- Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG – ATL): $4,700 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel
- Ivica Zubac (C – LAC): $4,500 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel
