5 Players I Like More Than ECR
Michael Carter: With Tevin Coleman now all but ruled out for this matchup, Carter should see plenty of work on the ground and should also be heavily involved out of the backfield as a receiver. He’s RB25 in ECR and RB21 in my rankings.
Rhamondre Stevenson: Stevenson’s ECR will almost certainly rise as we get official clarity on his status for Sunday, but assuming that he plays, he’s a solid start against Jacksonville. He’s currently RB42 in ECR and RB25 in my rankings.
Jaylen Waddle: Waddle’s seeing too much volume to keep him outside of my top-12 on the week. He’s WR11 in my rankings and WR14 in ECR.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling: MVS is all set to return this week and he was becoming heavily involved in the offense before missing Week 16. With the matchup against Minnesota in mind, he’s WR30 in my rankings and WR38 in ECR.
Trey Lance: This is just on-brand for me, but Lance has overall QB1 upside this week. He’s QB13 in ECR and QB10 in my rankings.
5 Players I Like Less Than ECR
Saquon Barkley: Saquon’s dealing with a bit of an injury and this offense is going to struggle to move the ball. He’s RB26 in my rankings and RB22 in ECR.
AJ Dillon: Dillon’s just not seeing enough volume to be a reliable standalone fantasy asset. I like him this week as a FLEX play, but there are other RB options I would play over him.
Marquise Brown: Brown just has not been producing here recently enough to be viewed as WR24 in ECR. He’s WR28 in my rankings currently and that could move down even more by the time we get to Sunday.
Michael Gallup: This isn’t a big one, but the unpredictability of Gallup’s usage is enough to knock him down a few spots from ECR. He’s WR34 in ECR and WR37 in my rankings.
Dallas Goedert: Goedert’s usage is too unpredictable in this offense for me to view him as a top-5 option like ECR. He’s TE8 in my rankings.
5 Receiver/Cornerback Matchups to Watch
Tyler Boyd/L’Jarius Sneed: Boyd will have a tough individual matchup this week with Sneed out of the slot.
Amon-Ra St. Brown/Ugo Amadi: Amadi has a poor 42.3 PFF Grade this season and St. Brown’s been playing on fire recently.
Jaylen Waddle/Elijah Molden: Waddle’s been playing spectacular football lately, but Molden’s a solid cover corner out of the slot for Tennessee. This will be a fun one to watch.
Marquise Brown/Jalen Ramsey: Brown’s going to have a tough time getting open this week against Ramsey.
Hunter Renfrow/Kenny Moore: Moore’s one of the best slot corners in the league and this will be a fun matchup to keep an eye on.
