I was pleased with how Week 13 went. My season-long leagues had a huge week, and the players discussed in this article also killed it. Only three of the 14 recommendations were busts, with many players finishing near the top of their position. Let’s try to keep that momentum rolling with case-game picks for Week 14’s full NFL slate.

Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Josh Allen (BUF): $7,800, at TB
Allen will surely bounce back from a nightmarish Monday night game. Anyone would have struggled in those 40-mph winds in Buffalo, and playing in Tampa is quite the improvement. Not only will the weather be beautiful, but the Buccaneers also have a terrible secondary. They’re ranked 24th in DraftKings points allowed to opposing quarterbacks before opposing Allen and his league-leading 25.7 DraftKings points per game.
Dak Prescott (DAL): $6,700, at WAS
This price tag surprised me. Prescott is in the midst of another monster season, averaging 22 fantasy points per game. He’s done a lot of that damage with his weapons sidelined, but they should be fully healthy following 10 days off. That makes him highly enticing against Washington, which has surrendered the most DK points to opposing signal-callers, according to DraftKings. Prescott has provided at least 27 fantasy points in each of his last three games against Washington.

FanDuel
Patrick Mahomes (KC): $8,500, vs. LV
Mahomes has Kansas City back on track. The 2018 MVP didn’t have a big fantasy game in the last two weeks, but he didn’t need to. That lowered his price to this tasty number, which is shocking since Mahomes cost $1,000 more last month. This price reduction makes him a great option, as he’s regularly provided 25 fantasy points per game since taking over as the starter. Mahomes has at least 23 FanDuel points in each of his last three meetings with the Raiders en route to a 30-point average.
Lamar Jackson (BAL): $7,900, at CLE
Jackson is also struggling right now, but it’s just a matter of time before he’s rolling again. He’s a superbly consistent fantasy option even through passing woes, scoring at least 16 FanDuel points in 40 of 46 games since taking over as Baltimore’s franchise quarterback in 2018. He reached that total despite struggling last week because his rushing gives him a floor no other signal-caller can match. A matchup with Cleveland isn’t too bad either, with the Browns owning an 18th OPRK against quarterbacks. Jackson has also had at least 26 FD points in five of his last six meetings with Cleveland.
In Consideration: Tom Brady (TB): $7,600 DK/$8,200 FD, vs. BUF
Running Backs
DraftKings
Alvin Kamara (NO): $7,900, at NYJ
Kamara has sat out the last two games due to a knee issue, but it looks like he’ll be ready to return here. He practiced before last week’s Thursday game, and an extra 10 days off will surely prepare him for this spectacular matchup. According to DraftKings, the Jets surrender the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. That’s bad news against Kamara, who’s averaging 21 DK points with at least 15 in all but one game.
Javonte Williams (DEN): $5,900, vs. DET
If you didn’t believe in Williams before Sunday night, you definitely should now. Denver’s rookie got all the work in the absence of Melvin Gordon, tallying 102 rushing yards and 76 receiving yards in a 33-point gem. We’ve waited for him to get the workhorse role all season because we’re talking about an elite pass-catcher who’s also averaging 4.8 yards per carry. Expect those brilliant averages to continue against a Detroit defense allowing the third-most DraftKings points to opposing running backs this season.
FanDuel
Elijah Mitchell (SF): $7,400, at CIN
The 49ers always like to ride one running back, and it appears Mitchell is the guy now. The sixth-round pick has at least 18 carries in five of his last six games, scoring at least 16 FanDuel points in four of those. That’s hard to find from someone in this price range, especially with Cincincatti surrendering the most FanDuel points to opposing running backs. Monitor Mitchell’s status, as he’s currently in the league’s concussion protocol.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (KC): $6,500, vs. LV
I was surprised to see CEH so far down the player pool. The first-round pick has re-established himself as Kansas City’s featured back by recording at least 12 carries in all but one game played this season. That has led to him scoring at least 15 FD points in three of his last five games, and he’s receiving all of the goal-line work as well. Those trends all bode well for a big day against the Raiders, who are surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing backs.
In Consideration: Austin Ekeler (LAC): $8,300 DK/$9,200 FD, vs. NYG
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
CeeDee Lamb (DAL): $7,200, at WAS
Lamb is Prescott’s favorite target in Dallas, and we have to adore him in such a lovely matchup. We already talked about how Washington is the best matchup for opposing quarterbacks, but the Football Team also owns a 27th OPRK against wide receivers. Lamb, who has scored at least 19 DraftKings points in five of his last seven games, should go off in this NFC East matchup.
Mike Williams (LAC): $6,000, vs. NYG
With Keenan Allen looking unlikely to play after getting placed on the COVID-19 list Monday, Williams should get all the targets he can handle. That’s big news for a receiver who has already scored at least 19 DraftKings points six times during a breakout year. He’s also had some duds along the way, but expect another gem at a decreased price tag if Allen is inactive. Facing the Giants only adds to his intrigue, as New York ranks 23rd in DK points allowed to opposing wideouts.
FanDuel
Tyreek Hill (KC): $8,700, vs. LV
Hill ranks second among all wideouts with over 16 FanDuel points per game, and he’s simply one of the game’s best receivers. A dud in his most recent outing might steer some people away, but he has 40-point upside and should thrive against a 27th-ranked Raiders secondary. Hill seems to turn on the jets when he sees the silver and black, too, tallying 17 or more FD points in five of his last six meetings with the Raiders.
Russell Gage (ATL): $6,200, at CAR
It’s weird considering Gage a cash-game option, but he’s Atlanta’s best receiver with Calvin Ridley away from the team. Gage has received at least six targets in six of his last seven games, combining for 27 targets over the previous three fixtures. He’s scored at least 15 FD points in back-to-back games, an astounding number from a $6,200 player.
In Consideration: Chris Godwin (TB): $7,100 DK/$7,700 FD, vs. BUF
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Mark Andrews (BAL): $5,900, at CLE
Andrews has remained way too cheap on DraftKings all season, and it makes no sense. He’s second among all tight ends with 17 DK points per game since Week 1, scoring at least 7.8 DK points in each game. It’s no surprise when you see his role, as Andrews has received at least eight targets in five straight outings. It also helps his cause that Cleveland owns a 21st OPRK against opposing tight ends.
FanDuel
Travis Kelce (KC): $7,500, vs. LV
Kelce has had a “down” year by his standards, but he’s still leading the position with 13.7 FD points per game. That shows just how absurd he is, making him an easy choice in cash games. Las Vegas is horrible against opposing tight ends, too, surrendering the third-most fantasy points to them this season. In addition, Kelce has collected at least 17 FD points in each of his last three games against them.
In Consideration: George Kittle (SF): $6,900 DK/$7,100 FD, at CIN
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Seattle Seahawks D/ST: $3,100, at HOU
Anytime someone faces Houston, they should be one of the slate’s highest-priced D/STs. That’s not the case for Seattle despite Houston ranking dead last in points scored and total yardage. That looks even better with Seattle sitting sixth in points allowed, making this one of the most mind-boggling price tags on the board.
FanDuel
Los Angeles Chargers D/ST: $4,300, vs. NYG
The Giants are another amazing opposition for DSTs. New York ranks 28th in points scored and 26th in total yardage, and the G-Men could be down to third-string quarterback Jake Fromm. The Chargers are a 10.5-point favorite in a game with a 44.5-point total.
In Consideration: Tennessee Titans D/ST: $3,700 DK/$4,700 FD, vs. JAX
