The Tuesday card was short, but it was a good one for us! Three-game slates are always my favorite because it gives us a smaller player pool to zone in on. That’s certainly not the case here, though, so let’s go ahead and get into it!
If you love watching basketball, this is the card for you! We have a season-high 13 games in action, showcasing 26 of the 30 teams. That means we have the largest player pool of the season, giving us a million options to pick from. It can be a bit overwhelming with this many players available, but hopefully, this will help you guys to break it down easier.

Injury Report
Core Plays
Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $11,400 DraftKings, $10,700 FanDuel
What if I told you that the MVP favorite has the best matchup in fantasy right now? That’s what we have here with Curry, facing a Portland team that sits 26th in points allowed and dead-last in defensive efficiency. That’s scary since Chef Curry is cooking up the NBA right now, averaging 51 DraftKings points per game. Steph sliced up Portland for 56 fantasy points in his last matchup with Portland, too.
James Harden (PG/SG – BKN): $11,300 DraftKings, $10,200 FanDuel
The Beard is starting to find his game again. He’s scored at least 43 DK points in 13 of his last 14 games, generating a 51-point average in that span. You know he’ll be motivated against his former team, too, averaging 49.3 DK points per game in his two meetings with the Rockets last season. The matchup is even better this year, with Houston sitting 25th in total defense while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA.
Dillon Brooks (SG/SF – MEM): $6,100 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel
Brooks is leading Memphis in Ja Morant‘s absence, posting a team-high 31 percent usage rate. That’s great news since he averages about 25 shots per 36 minutes played with Ja off the floor, making him an excellent option around $6K. That has led to DB scoring at least 32 DK points in three of his last five games, with blowouts being the only thing holding him back. That shouldn’t be an issue here in what should be a close game.
Cash Game Considerations
Richaun Holmes (C – SAC): $6,300 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
I love this pricing with Holmes. The big man is a walking double-double, scoring at least 29 DK points in four of his last five games. He’s also got a 31-point average for the season despite Luke Walton trying to ruin him, stepping up in the absence of Harrison Barnes. Facing Orlando is one of the best matchups for big men, too, with the Magic surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing centers this season.
Gordon Hayward (SG/SF – CHA): $7,600 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel
Charlotte had a COVID breakout recently, missing LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Ish Smith, and Mason Plumlee. That forced Gordon to play a lot of point guard in the first game without them, collecting 36 fantasy points for the third time in his last four games. He also played 44 minutes in the most recent outing, indicating that he’s going to take on as much as possible with so many players missing. Hayward also went off in his first meeting with Philly, dropping 36.3 DraftKings points despite shooting 5-of-19 from the field.
Rudy Gobert (C – UTA): $8,500 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel
Rudy is in the section almost every day for me. The simple fact is, he’s one of the best bets on the board for 30-40 fantasy points. That’s evident when you see that Gobert has scored at least 34 DK points in 20 of 23 games this season. His league-leading rounding is a significant reason why he will continue to provide this absurd floor. Facing Minnesota only adds to his intrigue, with Karl-Anthony Towns being one of the worst defensive centers in the NBA.
GPP Targets
Mo Bamba (C – ORL): $6,200 DraftKings, $7,300 FanDuel
Bamba is the definition of a GPP player. He’s mixed gems with duds all year, scoring at least 32 DK points in 13 of 24 games this season. He’s also shown a 50-point upside, making him a great GPP option in this price range. The matchup makes us feel like he can reach one of those ceiling games, with Sacramento sitting 26th in defensive efficiency and 28th in points allowed.
Jalen Brunson (PG/SG – DAL): $5,400 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel
I have a sneaky suspicion that Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis will be sat here in the second half of a back-to-back set. The Doncic one is the one that matters, and he didn’t look healthy on Tuesday night. JB has been a monster when Luka has been out, averaging over 32 DK points per game in these circumstances. That looks even better in a matchup like this, with Memphis ranked 24th in points allowed and 25th in defensive efficiency.
Norman Powell (SG/SF – POR): $4,800 DraftKings, $4,900 FanDuel
Portland is falling apart right now, and it’s no surprise when you see that Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum, and Anfernee Simons are all nicked up. That leaves Powell as one of the focal points of the offense, with Norman taking 24 shots and playing 44 minutes in the first game without those three. Those numbers are hard to find from an $11,000 player, and it makes Powell the play of the day south of $5K.
Value Plays
Cody Martin (SG/SF – CHA): $5,000 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel
Most of the Charlotte guys have had their prices bumped because of the COVID breakout, but these DFS sites are sleeping on Martin for whatever reason. Cody has collected 64 DK points across 76 minutes of action in the two games without those guys. That’s a 32-point average from a $5K player, which is truly absurd since there are so many Hornets stung by COVID.
Steven Adams (C – MEM): $4,900 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel
Adams has been doing more with Morant out of the lineup. He’s scored at least 20 fantasy points in five straight games, generating a 29-point average in that span. You can’t ask for any more from someone in this price range, especially with Dallas owning a 28th OPRK against opposing centers.
Isaiah Stewart (PF/C – DET): $5,600 DraftKings, $5,300 FanDuel
Beef Stew has been slow to get going this season, but he’s starting to turn it on. An injury to Kelly Olynyk has been the thing to get him going, guaranteeing him 25-30 minutes a night. That’s clear when you see that Stewart is averaging 32 DK points per game across 32.2 minutes a night over his last three fixtures. We certainly don’t mind that Washington owns a 26th OPRK against opposing centers, either.
