Monday’s slate was crazy. It felt like half the league was either injured or in COVID protocols. That can make a 10-game slate like that overwhelming at times, but it’s also a great time to thrive on some value! That led to one of my best articles of the season, getting numerous ceiling games from many of our picks!
If you were overwhelmed by that monster Monday card, this one might suit you better. We have just three games making up this Tuesday ledger, with some of the best superstars in the NBA in action. That means picking the right ones will be imperative, and we’ll help differentiate which type of game-style suits each individual player.

Injury Report
Core Plays
James Harden (PG/SG – BKN): $10,700 DraftKings, $10,600 FanDuel
There’s been a lot of talk about how Harden is struggling, but man, I’d love to be struggling like this. The Beard is averaging 49.4 DraftKings points per game for the season, scoring at least 43 fantasy points in eight straight games. James is also providing a 52-point average in that span, proving that his “slump” is coming to a conclusion.
LeBron James (PG/SF – LAL): $9,900 DraftKings, $10,500 FanDuel
It’s weird to see King James below $10K on DK. If you take out the game where James got ejected, he’s scored at least 38 DK points in all 11 games played. He’s also got a 49-point average in those outings, making it hard to believe he’s not $500 more on each site. He’s been even better recently, posting a 55-point average across his last three fixtures.
Dejounte Murray (PG – SAS): $9,500 DraftKings, $9,900 FanDuel
Dejounte has established one of the highest floors in DFS, scoring at least 48 DraftKings points in nine of his last 10 games. He’s also got a 51-point average in that span, flirting with a triple-double on a nightly basis. We love that even more here, with New York ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency ratings.
Cash Game Considerations
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,200 DraftKings, $10,000 FanDuel
AD would be the greatest cash-game player of all time if it weren’t for his injuries. This dude is a near-guarantee for 40-50 fantasy points, scoring at least 44 DK points in 16 of 22 games this season. That’s hard to overlook from a $10K player, especially since Davis has shown us 80-point upside in the past. We also don’t mind that he’s scored at least 47 fantasy points in each of his last three meetings with the Celtics.
Jayson Tatum (SF/PF – BOS): $9,400 DraftKings, $9,700 FanDuel
Tatum got off to a slow start this season, but he’s starting to find his shot. The former Blud Devil has at least 42 fantasy points in 12 of his last 15 games, averaging 26.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game in that span. You better believe he’ll be motivated against a team like the Lakers, too, dropping 65 DraftKings points on them in their one meeting earlier this year.
Jakob Poeltl (C – SAS): $5,900 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
I don’t get why Poeltl remains so affordable on both sites. Outside of a COVID absence and his first game back, Jakob has been a consistent beast. Poeltl has at least 28 DK points in 12 of the other 14 games, averaging 36 fantasy points per game in that span. That’s a massive total from a $6K player, and he should thrive against a subpar Knicks defense here.
GPP Targets
Robert Williams (C – BOS): $5,800 DraftKings, $6,400 FanDuel
Williams earned the nickname “The Time Lord” because of his ridiculous per-minute averages, but he hasn’t quite lived up to that moniker this season. In any case, he’s seeing a massive boost in playing time and will have some monster games sooner rather than later. He’s still averaging 27 DK points per game for the season and can easily drop 50-plus when given 30 minutes of play.
Derrick Rose (PG – NYK): $5,100 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
With Kemba Walker being exiled from the rotation, Rose has recently stumbled into a more significant role. Since that move, the 33-year-old has scored at least 21 DK points in all four games, averaging 27 DK points per game across 29 minutes a night. You can’t ask for any more from someone in this price range, especially with San Antonio surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.
Dwight Howard (C – LAL): $3,800 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel
It looks like Howard has usurped DeAndre Jordan as the starting center in LA, and he’s truly become one of the best per-minute producers around in this stage of his career. In fact, Howard is averaging 15.3 DK points per game, despite playing just 14 minutes a night. That minute total has been bumping recently, collecting 55 combined fantasy points across 56 minutes over the last two games. If you get 27 DK points and 28 minutes from someone this cheap, you’ve found the play of the day!
Value Plays
Immanuel Quickley (PG – NYK): $4,900 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel
Quickley has also picked up more usage in the absence of Walker, playing a Sixth Man role for this club. That has allowed Quickley to score at least 23 DK points in five of his last six games, playing at least 38 minutes in two of his previous three outings. An athlete like this should thrive in a matchup like this, too, with San Antonio playing at the fifth-fastest pace in the NBA.
Dorian Finney-Smith (SF/PF – DAL): $4,300 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel
With so many Dallas players nicked up, DFS should continue to play a big role. He always plays 30-plus minutes when everyone is healthy, but he has a lot more usage when everyone is on the injury report. That led to Finney-Smith dropping a 37-point gem in the Mavs’ most recent outing, an absurd total from someone in this price range.
Mitchell Robinson (C – NYK): $4,100 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel
Mitch-Rob is another guy struggling, but it’s just a matter of time before he rises $1,000 on each site. We say that because he’s averaging a career-high in minutes played and regularly flirts with 30 a game. This dude can easily provide a fantasy-point-per-minute, and he’s starting to find some consistency by scoring at least 18 DK points in seven straight outings. That might not sound like much, but it’s a great floor from a $4,100 player.
Advantageous Pricing

- Dorian Finney-Smith (SF/PF – DAL): $4,300 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel
