This week is going to be fascinating! We had three stud running backs go down in Week 12, and it’s going to cause chaos for the next few weeks. That’s a miserable part of fantasy football, but we must capitalize on those and use their fill-ins. There’s a lot to discuss with this Week 13 slate, though, so let’s go ahead and get into it!

The players below are ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Week 13:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Tom Brady (TB): $7,200, at ATL
Adding senior citizens to DFS articles is usually a poor endeavor, but Brady is a different animal. This beast ranks third among all quarterbacks with nearly 25 DraftKings points per game, scoring at least 31 fantasy points in five of 11 games this season. One of those happened to come against this atrocious Atlanta defense, with the Falcons sitting 31st in points allowed.
Derek Carr (LV): $6,000, vs. WAS
I am so impressed with this guy. Carr has almost no weapons in this lackluster offense, but he continues to provide solid fantasy value. This season, DC has scored at least 23 DK points in six of 11 games en route to a 20-point average. That makes this $6K price tag laughable, and it looks even better with Washington owning a 32nd OPRK against opposing signal-callers this season.

FanDuel
Lamar Jackson (BAL): $8,500, at PIT
Lamar is the highest-priced quarterback on the slate, and rightfully so. This is quite simply the most reliable option in fantasy, with L-Jax scoring at least 16 FanDuel points in 39 of 45 games since becoming the starting quarterback in Baltimore. He’s had a couple of duds in his two most recent outings, but it lowered his price to this tasty number. The fact that he had 13 FD points on Sunday night despite throwing four picks is a good indicator of how high this guy’s floor is, providing rushing abilities that no other quarterback can match. We also don’t mind how beat-up Pittsburgh’s defense is right now, either.
Matthew Stafford (LAR): $7,800, vs. JAX
Stafford has struggled mightily over the last three weeks, but this is a great spot to get him right. The Rams enter this matchup as a double-digit favorite and should slice through this Jaguars team like a warm knife through butter. We say that because Jacksonville ranks 25th in total defense this season. That’s terrible news against one of the most potent offenses in football, with Stafford scoring at least 23 FD points six times this season while reaching at least 15 fantasy points all but once.
In Consideration: Kyler Murray (ARI): $7,500/$8,300, at CHI
Running Backs
DraftKings
Jonathan Taylor (IND): $9,200, at HOU
JT has established himself as the best back in fantasy this season, and it makes him a worthy option on every slate. The Indy back has scored at least 19 DraftKings points in nine straight games, averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game in that stretch. That’s horrific news for the Texans, with Houston surrendering the most rushing yards in the NFL. That was on full display when Taylor tallied 31.8 DK points against them a month ago.
Alexander Mattison (MIN): $7,600, at DET
With Dalvin Cook likely missing this game, it looks like Mattison will be the horse. When given this opportunity, this guy is a stud, scoring at least 20 DK points in five straight games where he’s received at least 40 snaps. Those were all games without Cook, and it’s far from surprising with Mattison averaging 4.2 yards per carry while proving to be an elite pass-catcher out of the backfield. All of that makes him an easy play against anyone, but this happens to be a Detroit team that surrenders the most fantasy points to opposing backs this season.
FanDuel
Leonard Fournette (TB): $7,700, at ATL
Four-touchdown Forunette just dropped a 41-point masterpiece on Sunday, leading to numerous big cashes for DFS aficionados. He hasn’t had many blow-ups like that, but this guy has been a consistency monster. The former Jags back has scored at least 10 FD points in seven of his previous eight games, posting a 17-point average in that stretch. Being in there on nearly every snap and getting over 80 percent of the team’s carries have allowed him to do that, and he should feast against a 31st-ranked Falcons defense.
Myles Gaskin (MIA): $6,400, vs. NYG
Gaskin is another guy that’s getting all of the work. That alone makes him attractive for Miami, picking up at least 12 carries in six straight games. That has allowed Gaskin to score at least 13 FanDuel points in four of those, a massive total from a $6,400 player. He’s also getting all of the goal-line work, too, picking up two touchdowns on Sunday. Also, a matchup with New York is nice, with the Giants owning a 27th OPRK against opposing running backs.
In Consideration: Darrell Henderson (LAR): $6,100/$7,500, vs. JAX
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Cooper Kupp (LAR): $9,000, vs. JAX
Kupp just had one of his worst games of the season, but that alone shows how ridiculous this dude is. Cooper collected seven catches for 96 yards in that “down” game, marking the sixth straight game he’s surpassed 18 DraftKings points. He’s reached that total all but once, averaging nearly 27 fantasy points per game for the season. The simple fact is, this guy leads the league in catches and targets and is the safest wide receiver on every slate.
Brandin Cooks (HOU): $5,900, at IND
Cooks is not getting the credit he deserves. This guy has been a consummate professional for an underwhelming Texans team, averaging 14.3 DK points per game. That’s rare to see from a sub-$6K player, especially with Cooks posting an absurd 26.4 percent team target share. The 26 percent target share is the seventh-highest mark in the NFL, above guys like Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, Justin Jefferson, and Diontae Johnson. The matchup is sensational, too, with Indy owning a 23rd OPRK against opposing receivers. That was clear when Cooks compiled a season-best nine catches against them last month.
FanDuel
Justin Jefferson (MIN): $8,000, at DET
I thought Jefferson was due for a sophomore slump, but I was dead wrong. This is quite simply one of the best receivers in football, averaging 19.5 FanDuel points per game across his last four fixtures. That has led to JJ averaging 16 FD points per game for the season, which ranks second on this slate among all healthy wide-outs. Facing Detroit is dandy, too, with the Lions allowing 378 yards per game, the fifth-worst mark in the NFL.
Keenan Allen (LAC): $7,300, at CIN
FanDuel has kept Allen in this $7K price range all season, and it makes no sense why. This has been one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL for five years now, scoring at least 11 FanDuel points in all but two games this season. That sort of consistency is impossible to find, and we love that he’s averaging nine receptions a game over his last four fixtures. The matchup with Cincy is the icing on the cake, though, with the Bengals owning a 32nd OPRK against opposing wide receivers, according to FD.
In Consideration: DeAndre Hopkins (ARI): $6,200/$7,200, at CHI
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Mark Andrews (BAL): $6,000, at PIT
Andrews has remained affordable on DraftKings all season long, and it makes no sense why. This dude has been the number-two tight end in the NFL since Week 1, scoring at least 7.8 DK points in every game since then. He’s also surpassed 11 DraftKings points in seven of those, flirting with a 20-point average in that stretch. Those are absurd averages from a $6K player, especially at such a weak position like tight end.
FanDuel
George Kittle (SF): $6,300, at SEA
Kittle had an ugly showing in Week 12, but this dude is too good to be sitting at $6,300. This is one of the best tight ends in football when he’s healthy, and he is right now. Before that dud, Kittle had at least 11 FanDuel points in four of his previous five games, with the one outlier being a game where he got injured. We love all of that against Seattle, with the Seahawks surrendering the most passing yards in the NFL. Not to mention, Kittle could see more targets with Deebo Samuel likely missing this game as well.
In Consideration: Rob Gronkowski (TB): $5,300/$7,000, at ATL
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Tampa Bay Buccaneers D/ST: $3,500, at ATL
We all know that Tampa has one of the best defenses in football. They should show that here, with Atlanta ranked 27th in points scored and 29th in total yardage. That would be concerning enough, but it’s scary to think what this stout defensive line will do to one of the worst offensive lines I’ve ever seen! We also don’t mind that Tampa ranks third in the NFL in takeaways.
FanDuel
Los Angeles Rams D/ST: $4,900, vs. JAX
The Rams find themselves amid a shocking three-game losing streak, but this is the time for them to end it. They enter this matchup as a 13-point favorite and look in line to throttle the Jaguars here. You all know how good this defense is with guys like Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, but this 31st-ranked Jaguars offense surely won’t do anything against them.
In Consideration: Indianapolis Colts D/ST: $3,700/$4,500, vs. HOU
