Once or twice every year, there’s an article where I can’t get anything right. Last week was one of those.
It’s hard to pinpoint what I did wrong, but the results need to be better. That’s why I dug down and plunged into this Week 11 card. I feel great about the process, so let’s get into it! Consider the following players for your cash-game lineups.

Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Josh Allen (BUF): $8,100, vs. IND
Allen is easily the best fantasy quarterback right now, leading all players with 26.3 DraftKings points per game. He’s established a lovely floor recently, too, scoring at least 25 DK points in four of his last five games. That threshold should be easy to reach here, with Indianapolis allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
Aaron Rodgers (GB): $7,000, at MIN
Rodgers had his worst game of the season on Sunday, but that’s the outlier. He previously scored at least 24 DK points in four of his last five games. That would be a monster total from a $7K player, and the matchup might be the best part of this play. Minnesota has surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and Rodgers averaged 29 points in their two meetings last season.

FanDuel
Lamar Jackson (BAL): $8,400, at CHI
Jackson is in this article pretty much every week. His rushing ability makes him a great cash-game option, giving him one of the highest floors of any quarterback. The speedster has reached at least 18 DraftKings points in 38 of his last 43 games dating back three years, averaging 25 fantasy points per game in that span. That’s the second-highest total on FD, and Chicago is far from concerning with Khalil Mack sidelined.
Patrick Mahomes (KC): $8,300, vs. DAL
It’s pretty crazy to see Mahomes priced behind three players. He’s been the highest-scoring player for most of his career and provides 23.3 FanDuel points per game this year. That’s easily his worst season, and he’s still third behind Allen and Jackson! Mahomes turned things around Sunday night by dropping 36.2 FD points on the Raiders. He’ll likely be motivated for a highly anticipated matchup against the Cowboys.
In Consideration: Dak Prescott (DAL): $7,200 DK, $8,400 FD, at KC
Running Backs
DraftKings
Nick Chubb (CLE): $7,800, vs. DET
I want to preface this by saying D’Ernest Johnson would be just as good of a play if Chubb remains out. If Chubb clears COVID protocols, he’s one of the best options on the board. One of the best backs in football would face the worst defense as a 10.5-point favorite. He should get all the work he can handle, and Chubb has already attempted at least 15 carries in all but one game en route to 18.7 DK points per game. Meanwhile, the Lions are allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
A.J. Dillon (GB): $6,200, at MIN
With Aaron Jones expected to miss this game, Dillon is the play of the week. The youngster has impressed as the backup, posting a 74% yards after contact rate and an 18% broken tackle rate. Those excellent numbers have led to 4.6 yards per carry for his career. Dillon should see nearly all the snaps against a Vikings defense that ranks 28th in rushing yards allowed.
FanDuel
Joe Mixon (CIN): $7,600, at LV
Mixon is not getting the credit he deserves. He’s fifth among all healthy backs with 16.5 FanDuel points per game, scoring at least 23 fantasy points in three of his last four outings. That’s one of the best stretches of his career, and it should continue with Vegas owning a 24th OPRK against running backs this season.
Myles Gaskin (MIA): $6,200, at NYJ
Gaskin is pretty risky for a cash-game option, but I love his current role. He’s gotten at least 12 carries in four straight games, also averaging four targets a game in that span. That’s on par with some stud running backs. That workload makes him impossible to fade against the Jets, who are surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing backs this season.
In Consideration: James Conner (ARI): $6,100 DK, $7,200 FD, at SEA
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Tyreek Hill (KC): $8,200, vs. DAL
Hill has traded off good and bad games all year, but that pattern will end this week. The speedster is second at the position with 22.0 DraftKings points per game, scoring at least 23 DK points in three of his last five fixtures. He’s cracked 40 twice this season as well, making it hard to believe he’s not the highest-priced option on the board. Dallas is a dandy matchup, owning a 24th OPRK against opposing wide receivers.
DK Metcalf (SEA): $6,800, vs. ARI
This price tag is nuts. Metcalf and the Seahawks just had a nightmarish game in Green Bay, but it’s only a matter of time before they get going. Metcalf is a top-10 option with Russell Wilson healthy, so his price should soon rise above $7K. This game’s 50-point total indicates that Seattle will get things rolling, and Metcalf’s elite athleticism will surely be a significant factor.
FanDuel
Davante Adams (GB): $8,400, at MIN
Much like Hill, Adams should always be here when he’s not the slate’s highest-priced receiver. That’s the case on FanDuel, where Adams is about $500 too cheap. His role makes him a great cash option; Adams is ranked third or better in total targets, target share, and receptions. All of that is terrible news for this appalling Vikings secondary.
A.J. Brown (TEN): $7,200, vs. HOU
Brown was a massive disappointment last week, but I’m going right back to the well. The price tag is the most intriguing thing here, as 10 wide receivers are more expensive. That’s hard to believe with Brown accumulating at least nine targets in four straight games before Sunday’s dud. If he gets as many targets in Week 11, Brown should obliterate a 31st-ranked Texans defense.
In Consideration: Amari Cooper (DAL): $6,200 DK, $7,300 FD, at KC
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Mark Andrews (BAL): $6,000, at CHI
Andrews has been the best tight end in football since Week 1, but he’s still priced fourth at the position on DraftKings. That doesn’t make any sense. Andrews has maintained a 17-point average since Week 1, and he’s tallied at least 11 DK points in eight of those nine games while recording at least six targets in seven straight games. If you’re going to use Jackson, you should stack him with Andrews.
FanDuel
Travis Kelce (KC): $7,300, vs. DAL
Kelce is having a “down” year by his standards, but he’s still the top-scoring tight end in football with 13.4 FanDuel points per game. That’s a good indicator of how ridiculous he is. He’s getting back to vintage form, scoring at least 13 fantasy points in four of his last six games. Dallas owns a 20th OPRK against opposing tight ends as well.
In Consideration: George Kittle (SF): $6,300 DK, $6,800 FD, at JAX
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Cleveland Browns D/ST: $3,100, vs. DET
Cleveland just had a disastrous performance against New England, but this is still a good defense. Despite the ugly showing, the Browns rank fifth in yards surrendered and are tied for first in sacks. That’s rough news for a winless Detroit team ranked 30th in total offense. The Motor City Kitties are projected for just 17 points.
FanDuel
Tennessee Titans D/ST: $4,600, vs. HOU
This game could be gross. The Texans rank last in points scored and yards per game and will likely struggle against an emerging Titans defense. Tennessee ranks fourth in sacks and 12th in takeaways, slowing down some of the best offenses in football over the last month. The Texans also match the Lions for the lowest projected total of the week at 17 points.
In Consideration: Miami Dolphis D/ST: $3,600 DK, $4,800 FD, at NYJ
