Monday was blowout city in the NBA! It felt like every game was decided by the third quarter, causing chaos for DFS. Yours truly had a pretty good night with my Kings-Sixers stack, and it has me ready to keep rolling here!
After a monstrous slate on Monday, we’re down to just four games here. The layout of the slate is the most exciting thing. Most people never even take into consideration late-swap on these sites, but this is the perfect slate to capitalize on it. The two early games will be over before the two late games start, and it’ll be critical to make the right moves. That’s why I prefer to stack the late games here, so let’s go ahead and get into it!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Russell Westbrook (PG – LAL): $10,500 DraftKings, $9,900 FanDuel
Westbrook has struggled with his shot all season, but he continues to provide fantasy value. Since a dud in the opener, Russ is averaging 20 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game. That’s not the MVP-Westbrook we used to know and love, but we expect those averages to be his floor here with King James sitting. Not to mention, the Knicks rank 19th in defensive efficiency ratings.
Paul George (SF – LAC): $10,300 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel
PG13 is having the best year of his storied career, averaging 50 fantasy points per game. His floor has been even more amazing, scoring at least 33 DraftKings points in every game and dropping 39-plus in all but one outing. One of those came against Dallas, with Paul providing 44 DK points on 23 shots.
Jimmy Butler (SG/SF – MIA): $9,700 DraftKings, $10,100 FanDuel
Butler is also having the best year of his career, averaging 25.1 points. 5.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. That has led to his brilliant 45-point average, with Jimmy scoring at least 39 DK points in all but one game this season. That should be easy to duplicate here, with Detroit ranked 24th in defensive ratings.
Cash Game Considerations
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,900 DraftKings, $10,500 FanDuel
We already talked about how Westbrook thrives with LeBron off the floor, but AD feasts in these circumstances. In fact, Davis leads the club with a 34 percent usage rate with James off the floor, averaging over 50 fantasy points per game. That’s scary with Davis’ recent form, scoring at least 65 DK points in four of his last nine games.
Kristaps Porzingis (PF/C – DAL): $8,500 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel
KP takes over when Luka is out of the lineup. The big man has scored at least 41 DK points in seven straight games, averaging 47 fantasy points per game in that span. That’s tough to find from a sub-$9K player, especially since he leads the Mavs in usage since Doncic went down.
Will Barton (SG/SF – DEN): $7,400 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Will the Thrill has been doing a lot of ball-handling with Jamal Murray and Michael Porter sidelined, taking on even more usage in the absence of Nikola Jokic. That has allowed Barton to score at least 35 DK points in six of his last eight games, generating a 41-point average in those six outings. That looks even better, with Portland ranked 25th in defensive efficiency ratings.
GPP Targets
Jusuf Nurkic (C – POR): $6,300 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
Nurk’s minutes are about as volatile as a reality TV star, but his production is steady. The big man is averaging 32 DK points per game, despite playing just 24 minutes a night. That’s why he’s a GPP option because Nurk could be the play of the day if he receives the 30-35 minutes we’ve been praying for. A matchup against his former team might be the thing he needs for that extra motivation!
Tim Hardaway Jr (SG/SF – DAL): $5,800 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel
Much like KP, THJ takes on a ton of usage in the absence of Doncic. He leads the team in shots with Luka off the floor, averaging 19 shots a game in the three games he’s missed. That’s led to Hardaway scoring at least 28 fantasy points in eight of his last 11 games. You can’t ask for any more from a sub-$6K player.
Kemba Walker (PG – NYK): $4,800 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel
Kemba’s role has been all over the place in New York, but that’s what a GPP player does. His upside is the thing that’s tough to overlook, with Walker scoring at least 26 DK points six times this season. He’s also cracked 35-plus in four of them, and that’d be amazing from someone sitting around $5K. Facing Los Angeles might be the thing to spark one of those, with the Lakers owning a 30th OPRK against opposing point guards.
Value Plays
Monte Morris (PG – DEN): $4,400 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel
I really don’t understand why Monte remains so cheap. He’s been starting at point guard in Denver all season, playing at a $6K level. He’s got at least 17 DK points in 12 straight games, generating a 25-point average in that stretch. That’s no surprise with all of the injuries, and he’d be nearly impossible to fade if Jokic sits out as well.
Nerlens Noel (C – NYK): $4,200 DraftKings, $4,800 FanDuel
With Mitch-Rob already ruled out, Noel should get the start at center. That means he’s a near guarantee for 20-30 minutes, making him a monster value in this price range. If you look at the 29 games Noel has played at least 26 minutes dating back to last season, he’s averaging 30.4 DK points per game. That’s absurd from someone this cheap.
Frank Jackson (PG/SG – DET): $4,000 DraftKings, $3,800 FanDuel
I thought a big man would step up in Detroit with Isaiah Stewart out, but it looks like they’re going to go small and give those excess minutes to Jackson. The guard has played at least 26 minutes in three straight games, averaging 27 DK points per game across 28 minutes a night in that span.
