NBA DFS Primer: Saturday (11/13)

After a huge 11-game slate on Friday, we get to focus on a nice six gamer heading into Saturday. Five to seven-game slates are what I consider to be the “sweet spot.” There are just enough games, with large enough player pools to still find ways to differentiate your lineups but not gigantic enough that they cause absolute chaos and indecisiveness when building them. I still enjoy the challenge large slates throw at you, don’t get me wrong, but decisions come much easier with a more condensed six-game slate like we have coming up than they do on an 11 gamer like we had last night.

No matter the size of the slate, though, it’s always essential beforehand to take a look at the scheduled games and their vegas totals, as well as each team’s injury report for that given day or night. Doing so will allow you to prioritize the projected high-scoring games you want to target and know which players have already been ruled out or have the possibility of being ruled out before tip-off. This will, in turn, allow you to determine which players already are or potentially will be the best value plays of the upcoming contest.

With that being said, let’s take a look at the upcoming schedule, along with the injury report, before we dive into the core, GPP, cash game, and value plays of Saturday’s NBA DFS Primer.
