What is PropsFantasy

PropsFantasy is a brand new way for redraft managers and even dynasty managers to enjoy fantasy football. Enhance your league experience by leveling up the competition and ways to cash in on your fantasy team. Sound like fun? Here are some more details about this exciting new way to play.

Import your Yahoo or Sleeper fantasy football leagues and create challenges between teams in the same leagues or across different leagues. These challenges can be issued to other PropsFantasy users and kept public, or you can keep them private, only for a select few, or a party of one to accept.

PropsFantasy gives us a chance to cash in on the fantasy teams that we have already drafted. We can create challenges and go up against league rivals (or friends), the PropsFantasy community, or that rival from another league who you just can’t seem to beat. We can also do things like create rivalry weeks where side action becomes the norm and rivals are pitted against each other.

Find yourself out of the playoff action? Issue a challenge and look to cash in. One of the most appealing aspects of PropFantasy’s offering is that it allows you to use your team or teams to compete for cash all year long, regardless of where you may sit in the standings.

Interested in jumping on one of the many public challenges posted by other PropsFantasy users? Head to the lobby and browse through a wide variety of challenges to choose from.

PropsFantasy’s platform is optimized for the mobile experience and is one of the cleaner new entrants to the fantasy space. You can participate in free challenges to get a better feel for this exciting platform, and once you have, you can set challenges starting at as low as $1 and as high as $1,000.

Challenge Ideas

PropsFantasy is still in beta, which means that challenges are free to create. That means we can tinker with different challenge ideas. The possibilities are endless, but here is a couple you can create for this week that will help get the rest of your league’s interest piqued.

Rivalry week
This works best in home leagues or in leagues where most, if not all, of the managers, know each other. Rivalry week involves pitting good friends head to head.

Top two seeds
This challenge is self-explanatory. Any week, or every week, one of the challenges you create can involve the top two seeds in the league in question. This also works across leagues, where you can pit the top seed from two different leagues against each other.

Bottom two seeds
Just like with the top two seed matchups, you can do the same for the bottom two seeds. This route may get some immediate traction as the bottom seeds may be looking for a way to spice up the rest of their season, especially if they already find themselves outside of the playoff picture.

Top projected point scorers
While we all know projections often don’t play out as expected, this is a fun path that can help your entire league get in on the action. Two teams with similar projected scores will also help your challenge get more traction from the rest of PropsFantasy users who are searching for challenges in the lobby.

Two of your teams from different leagues
While this is something you would likely only do in beta mode when contests are free, it is fun to take two of your top-performing fantasy teams and pit them against each other.

Frenemy matchups
For those of you who play in recurring redraft leagues or dynasty leagues that feature many of the same managers year to year, you often see true rivalries ignite. It may be two teams that constantly square off against each other in the playoffs. It may be two teams that simply grew to dislike one another over the years. Whatever makes two of your league managers ‘ frenemies’, these challenges can get the whole league interested.
