Core Plays
Russell Westbrook (PG/SG – LAL): $9.3K DraftKings, $8.4K FanDuel
Westbrook just emphatically reminded everyone what he’s capable of with some increased opportunity by delivering a monster 33-point double-double on Tuesday against the Spurs with LeBron James sidelined. Now that Anthony Davis is also banged up along with LeBron, it’s quite likely that Westbrook will get a chance to lead the show in a soft matchup on Wednesday against the Thunder.

Injury Report
LaMelo Ball (PG – CHA): $8.1K DraftKings, $8.2K FanDuel
Through four games, Ball has delivered no fewer than 5 assists or 17 points in a single contest. He’s also averaging 5.5 rebounds per games and 1.8 steals. That multi-category consistency makes him an excellent player to build around in a matchup against a Magic team that is allowing 113.8 points per game so far.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (PG/SG – OKC): $7.1K DraftKings, $7.1K FanDuel
After averaging just 15.5 points per game through the Thunder’s first two, Shai has followed with 29 and 30, proving why this salary level is way too low for him considering his huge role for Oklahoma City. He gets to face a weakened Lakers defense, particularly if Anthony Davis is hobbled or out.
Cash Game Considerations
Paul George (SF/PF/SG – LAC): $10.3K DraftKings, $10.5K FanDuel
Until Kawhi Leonard returns, there’s no reason to fade Paul George in cash games. He’s produced 54.4 DK points per game through the Clippers first three, and his 7 rebounds per game are getting buoyed by other injuries to Los Angeles’ big men like Serge Ibaka.
Ja Morant (PG – MEM): $9.6K DraftKings, $9.5K FanDuel
With a usage rate of 33.6% so far this season, Morant trails only Giannis Antetokounmpo (33.8%) for players with over 100 minutes of court time. He’s also averaging an absurd 35.0 points per game. That rate will likely simmer slightly, but Morant is still an outstanding play for cash lineups.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker (PG/SG/SF – NOP): $6.9K DraftKings, $6.1K FanDuel
Zion Williamson‘s absence has resulted in huge production for Brandon Ingram, but it appears that Nickeil Alexander-Walker will be the other beneficiary of increased usage for the Pelicans. His consistency makes him an excellent cash target, as he’s produced at least 5 rebounds and 14 points in all four games this season.
GPP Targets
Bradley Beal (SG/PG – WAS): $9.2K DraftKings, $8.7K FanDuel
Things may not look pretty from a DFS perspective for Beal so far, but it’s only been two games. This is an incredibly small sample size for one of the best players in the NBA, and a great opportunity to look his way while others avoid his slow start. None of this is to mention that his usage rate is 34.0% so far. That will quickly lead to some more lofty performances.
Devin Booker (SG/PG – PHO): $8.0K DraftKings, $7.5K FanDuel
Here’s another shooting guard that’s off to a surprisingly slow start. The hiccup is really in Booker’s scoring, as he’s averaging a full 7.3 points less per game through three games versus last season’s average. He should quickly see his numbers return to normal though, and it’s a good idea to catch him now before he does and his ownership numbers follow.
Robert Williams (C/PF – BOS): $6.2K DraftKings, $7.1K FanDuel
Williams has been all over the place so far, with performances ranging from 11.25 to 50.5 DK points in just four games. That volatility makes him a great fit for tournaments. It’s his blocking and rebounding upside that give him so much room for outperformance. He’s averaging 3.0 blocks per game and posted 5 in the Celtics’ first game this season.
Value Plays – under $5.5K
Jalen Suggs (PG/SG – ORL): $5.0K DraftKings, $5.3K FanDuel
This price is too cheap for a player being given a chance to lead the Magic in his rookie season. Suggs is a multi-category contributor, averaging 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists through Orlando’s first four games. He’s being given solid minutes and can easily beat his price.
Carmelo Anthony (PF/SF – LAL): $4.9K DraftKings, $5.2K FanDuel
Carmelo is never afraid to quickly show both the good and the bad, as he followed a 28-point gem over the weekend with a 4-point stinker Tuesday. Still, with both LeBron and Anthony Davis battling injuries, the Lakers are likely to lean on Carmelo for some production against the Thunder. At this salary, a good Carmelo game can translate into great results.
Terance Mann (SG/SF – LAC): $4.6K DraftKings, $4.4K FanDuel
Marcus Morris Sr.’s absence is just one more reason to play Terance Mann at such a cheap price. He’s been a beneficiary of Kawhi Leonard‘s absence and should only continue to receive more opportunities. Mann is contributing across all categories and showcased exciting upside in the Clippers’ last game by delivering 4 steals.
Advantageous Pricing
- C.J. McCollum (SG/PG – POR): $8,500 FanDuel, $7,800 DraftKings
- Robert Williams (C/PF – BOS): $7,100 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings
- Steven Adams (C – MEM): $7,000 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings
- Russell Westbrook (PG/SG – LAL): $8,400 FanDuel, $9,300 DraftKings
- Damian Lillard (SG/PG – POR): $8,200 FanDuel, $9,400 DraftKings
