Rudy Gobert (C – UTA): $8.4K DraftKings, $8.2K FanDuel
With the Bucks big men dealing with a number of injuries, Rudy Gobert should have a great chance to produce against Milwaukee. The Jazz should try to target the Bucks’ interior weakness and feed Gobert often in this game, which could boost his scoring in addition to his typical outstanding rebounding and shot-blocking. He’s averaging a ridiculous 18.0 rebounds per game through Utah’s first five contests.
Miles Bridges (SF/PF – CHA): $7.4K DraftKings, $8.0K FanDuel
His salary has increased following some incredible performances to open the season, but if Bridges continues to score at this pace he will still be an excellent play until the prices are adjusted further. It’s a very small sample size, but his 25.5 points per game this season are more than doubling his career average of just 11.2 points per game.
Cash Game Considerations
Giannis Antetokounmpo (PF/C/SF – MIL): $11.0K DraftKings, $11.3K FanDuel
This should be a close game for the Bucks against Utah, which makes Giannis a great fit for cash games. He already is remarkably dominant and consistent across nearly every DFS category.
LaMelo Ball (PG – CHA): $7.8K DraftKings, $7.8K FanDuel
He’s had a couple of uneventful games in a row for the Hornets, but Ball is still a fantastic multi-category contributor. That makes him a strong cash play, especially at this salary level.
C.J. McCollum (SG/PG – POR): $7.7K DraftKings, $8.6K FanDuel
McCollum is actually outscoring Damian Lillard by a full 5.0 points per game so far this season. It’s unlikely that persists, but for $1,700 cheaper on DraftKings he makes a lot of sense on Sunday’s slate.
GPP Targets
James Harden (PG/SG – BKN): $9.9K DraftKings, $9.9K FanDuel
Harden has been completely overshadowed by Kevin Durant so far this year. That will cause DFS players to favor spending up on Durant instead of Harden, which allows you to instead take Harden as a much less popular option.
Damian Lillard (PG – POR): $9.4K DraftKings, $8.4K FanDuel
The slow start to the season for Lillard will cause him to go completely ignored on Sunday. That won’t stop him from eventually returning to his typical production. His average of 19.2 points per game is 9.6 points below last season’s average of 28.8 points per game.
Jusuf Nurkic (C – POR): $7.3K DraftKings, $7.4K FanDuel
Nurkic has been inconsistent so far and isn’t seeing heavy minutes. However, he’s averaging an absurd 1.39 DK points per minute. That makes his upside worth considering in tournaments at this salary.
Value Plays
LaMarcus Aldridge (C/PF – SAS): $4.8K DraftKings, $4.8K FanDuel
It looks like Aldridge still has plenty left in the tank. He’s really interesting at this salary, especially considering that he’s scored more than 33 DK points twice already this season.
Pat Connaughton (SG/SF – MIL): $4.4K DraftKings, $4.7K FanDuel
The Bucks are dealing with several injuries to their big men, and Connaughton has stepped up, seeing a lot of court time and an increase in production. He delivered 10 rebounds on Saturday and should continue to outperform this salary until Milwaukee returns to full strength.
Cade Cunningham (PG/SG – DET): $3.6K DraftKings, $5.0K FanDuel
The first overall pick wasn’t a slam dunk in his first game, only seeing 19 minutes. As the minutes start to rise, though, he should begin to produce at a level that outpaces this salary significantly.
