Thursday's Starting Pitcher Strategy
The pitching options aren't bulletproof on tonight's five-game slate. Shane McClanahan isn't pictured in the table above, and he might be the most talented pitcher on the slate. However, his salary is obstructive to rostering the hitters at Coors Field. Further, Triston McKenzie has nearly been his equal of late, facing a less imposing lineup to boot. As a result, he's my top pitcher on the slate. Carlos Carrasco's my second-favorite arm and preferred SP2 in cash games on DraftKings. In addition, I'm emboldened to suggest him in cash games on FanDuel, too, thanks to his depressed salary and promising back-to-back starts. Finally, Eduardo Rodriguez's strikeout potential thrusts him into the GPP discussion.
