Saturday's Starting Pitcher Strategy
It's all about Tyler Mahle tonight. He's easily my favorite pitcher on tonight's slate across game types and platforms. However, you have to roster two starting pitchers at DraftKings. My favorites are a pair of American League Central hurlers, Reynaldo Lopez and Daniel Lynch, who are opposing each other. Still, they're both risky enough that my preference is to avoid cash games and lean toward GPPs.
Cash Game Recommendations:
Tyler Mahle (CIN) vs. DET
Mahle's enjoying a fantastic season. However, he's been extremely sharp of late. According to FanGraphs, in his last six starts spanning 36.2 innings, he's recorded a 3.44 ERA, 3.36 xFIP, 3.35 SIERA, 1.04 WHIP, 4.1 BB%, 27.7 K%, and 30.3 CSW%.
