Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Week 26 (2021)

Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Week 26 (2021)

Let’s get right into it this week.

Here’s how I did last week:

Total: W 2, L 3, QS 2, ER 11, K 29, BB 11

Things were going so well for us until Alec Mills took to the mound. Seven of the 11 earned runs from our streamers this week came during that start. Overall, a promising end for the 2021 season. If you’re playing this final week, best of luck and continue to monitor the probable pitchers on a daily basis.

Thanks for following along this season, and let’s start to prepare for 2022 drafts!

Let’s get to it for Week 26.

Monday, September 27

Brady Singer (KC) at CLE 31%

We’ll go slightly over the threshold here, as options are limited during the final week of the season. Singer just dominated the same Cleveland ballclub that he’s set to take on here to the tune of a seven-inning complete game. While I don’t expect that same level of dominance, I like him to return positive value on his start.

Other option: N/A

Tuesday, September 28

Joe Ryan (MIN) vs. DET 35%

We’ll move it up here to get Ryan in, too, because there aren’t any other serviceable options to go with. Ryan has a 2.45 ERA and a 0.59 WHIP with 25 strikeouts in 22 big-league innings so far. If this was June, he’d be around the 70 percent mark. Fire him up for this start and also his Sunday start.

Other option: N/A

Wednesday, September 29

N/A

No one really stands out to me here, unfortunately. The closest option would be Tylor Megill, who has shown signs that he’s running on empty from a workload standpoint. If you need the stream, you can go with him against the Marlins.

Other option: N/A

Thursday, September 30

Alex Cobb (LAA) at TEX 22%

Cobb just put on a great performance against the Astros in 5.2 innings, and he gets to face the easier Texas team this time around. On the season, he’s quietly put up a 3.46 ERA with more than a strikeout per inning.

Other option: N/A

Friday, October 1

Tyler Anderson (SEA) vs. LAA 22%

We recommended Anderson last week, and he came through for us in a big way with seven one-run innings and seven strikeouts against the A’s. He’ll get the Angels here in another plus-matchup as the Mariners continue to fight for the final playoff berth.

Other option: N/A

Saturday, October 2

Shane Baz (TB) at NYY 26%

We’ll see what the Yankees lineup looks like here – same with Tampa’s really – on the second-to-last day of the regular season. But my God, did Baz look nearly unhittable in his debut against Toronto or what?

Other option: Max Kranick (PIT) vs. CIN 1%

Sunday, October 3

Joe Ryan (MIN) at KC 35%

The last day of the season is tough to call because teams are going to rest their players or protect their players from injury if they aren’t fighting for playoff positioning. I default to Ryan or Singer here as repeat options but don’t count on Sunday starts from anyone if you can help it.

Other option: N/A
