Just Missed the Cut
Jonathan Taylor
Taylor is just on the cusp of a RB1 ranking, but concerns about Carson Wentz, Indy’s offensive line, and the backups Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines have me a little wary. I’d love to include him in the top-12, but I’m knocking him back a spot to RB13 due to those red flags.
Antonio Gibson
I’m a huge fan of Gibson and legitimately believe Washington focuses on the run game this season and gives him plenty of work. He and Taylor both have RB1 upside, and I hate to leave either of them out of the top-12, but the bottom line is there are so many talented backs in the RB10-15 range that not everyone can make the cut. This is praise for the top-12 rather than an indictment on Gibson.
