MLB Daily Fantasy Primer: Monday (6/7)

We have quite the odd schedule on Monday, where there are only three games on the slate — this, compared to the full 30-team player pool from my last article on Friday. To make it more complicated, FanDuel is considering the full three games the “main slate,” while DraftKings lists the three as “All-Day,” where their “main slate” is the latter two games. For the sake of this article, I will be writing about all three games as one slate.

I will also take a vastly different approach than I do with a normal schedule. Instead of listing players I want to target because of matchups or salary, I will go through the probable thought process of the MLB DFS community as they build their lineups. This will be more of a “game theory” post.

Fear not. This is one of the best ways to approach — and win — MLB DFS, and it requires a small slate like the one we have on Monday.
