Two-Start Pitcher Lookahead: Week 4 (2021)

Every week, the bidding for two-start pitchers is fast and furious. Fantasy managers craving those extra starts, particularly in points leagues, are willing to spend significant FAB to add even the diciest hurler who will take the mound twice between Monday and Sunday.

If you have the room, adding a two-start pitcher a week before his two-start week can not only save you time, effort, and FAB dollars, but it can give you a significant edge on your competition. So, in this article each week, I’ll provide a list of the widely-available two-start options for two weeks down the road, ranking them in terms of likely value during that week.

Each of Trevor Rogers, Sean Manaea, and Jordan Montgomery should be rostered regardless of their two-start status. And although he is just 11% rostered at the moment, so, too, should Jake Junis, whose addition of a cutter makes him a viable starter nearly every time out.

Other than those, only Garrett Richards is worth a stash. Neither the Mets (in Citifield) or the Rangers represents a difficult matchup, and Richards has good enough raw stuff to survive, even if he is off to a rough start.
