Sunday’s slate was honestly ugly, but this one feels way more normal. We have 11 games making up this Monday ledger to kick off the week. That’s a huge player pool, and it means there’s a lot to navigate through. We’re also still trying to figure out what these rotations will look like with all the recent trades, and that’ll be something to monitor going forward!

Most Value Per Dollar
The position scarcity on this slate is non-existent. Every position seems to have a good balance of value plays and stud options. With that said, the center position presents the most value once again. That seems to always be the case on DraftKings, though, and more so than ever here. In terms of the betting landscape, we should have a ton of close games. The only monster favorites include the Utah Jazz and Brooklyn Nets, which is really no surprise.

Below is a list of the top-10 players of the day expected to generate the most value relative to their salary. These are ranked in order.
Andrew Wiggins (GSW): $7,400
Wiggins is finally getting the price tag he’s rightfully earned. The reason for the stark increase is that he’s taken over this offense in the absence of Stephen Curry. That’s crystal clear when you see that Wig is averaging 41 DraftKings points per game across his last five fixtures. We love that against a Bulls team that ranks eighth in pace and 24th in points allowed.
Robert Williams (BOS): $6,700
Williams is nicknamed The Time Lord because he’s an absolute freak in the minutes he’s given. That’s evident by the fact that he’s averaging 23.3 DK points per game in just 17.4 minutes a night this season. That’s one of the best rates you’ll ever see, and we love that with Rob-Will gaining minutes with Daniel Theis being traded and Tristan Thompson sitting on the sidelines. In the last two games as a starter, Williams has at least 37 fantasy points in each of them.
Myles Turner (IND): $5,900
Turner has been inconsistent all year, but he’s way too good to sit below $6K. We say that because he’s got a 32-point average for the season, which is already flirting with 6X value. The main reason we love him today is the matchup, though. The Wizards rank first in pace, 27th in defensive efficiency, and 29th in OPRK against opposing centers.
Pascal Siakam (TOR): $7,800
Sia is quietly in the midst of his best stretch of the season right now, scoring at least 44 DK points in four of his last five games. He also has at least 51 DK points in back-to-back games coming into this matchup as Toronto tries to dig out of this deep hole they’ve dug themselves. We absolutely love that with Detroit surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.
Malcolm Brogdon (IND): $7,000
Brogdon has been a bit down over the last month or so, but he’s still a beast. We’re talking about a guy with a 39-point average for the season, scoring at least 36 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. That makes it hard to understand why he’s down to $7K, but we’re going to take advantage against one of the worst defenses in the NBA.
Moses Brown (OKC): $6,800
Now that Al Horford is out for the season, Brown will be the starting center in Oklahoma City. He’s been a monster in that role so far — he has scored at least 33 DraftKings points in each of his last four starts while averaging 38 fantasy points per game across his last six outings in total. He had 19 rebounds at the half on Saturday, and if that doesn’t show you how scary he can be, nothing will!
Theo Maledon (OKC): $5,800
With Oklahoma City in full-on rebuild mode, Maledon has found himself in a huge role. The absence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has really allowed Theo to flourish, and he has started for nearly two months now. His production has been increasing of late, though, and he has scored at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last four games while generating a 28-point average in that span. We certainly don’t mind that he faces a 24th-ranked Dallas defense, either.
Brook Lopez (MIL): $5,400
If you’ve been following me, you knew this was coming. Bro-Lo has been awesome for weeks now, and DraftKings continues to undervalue him. He has scored at least 29 DK points in six of his last 10 games while averaging 30 fantasy points per game in that span. That’s all you can ask for from a sub-$6K player, especially with every other Milwaukee player nicked up.
Josh Richardson (DAL): $5,200
J-Rich is another guy who needs to see a price bump. Over his last 11 games played, Richardson is averaging 27.4 DK points per game in 34 minutes a night. That’s the production you’d expect from a $6K player, and it’s hard to understand why Rich is only $5,200. Oklahoma City is far from a scary matchup, too, as they own a 27th OPRK against opposing small forwards.
James Wiseman (GSW): $5,200
Wiseman has been announced as the starting center for the remainder of the season, and as long as these minutes keep creeping up, so will this price. We say that because he’s averaging nearly 1.1 DK points per minute for the season and continues to improve. If he can maintain that rate and continues playing the 25-30 minutes he’s been playing recently, Wiseman could be a $7K player with the talent he possesses. Not to mention, Chicago surrenders the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers this year.
Studs Worth Their Salary
- James Harden (BKN) $10,900: With Kevin Durant out for another week, Harden should still be in take-over mode. He’s actually averaging nearly 60 DraftKings points per game over his last 20 outings and should have no problem reaching that total against a 26th-ranked T’Wolves defense.
- De’Aaron Fox (SAC) $9,500: Fox has been one of the best players in the NBA over the last month. He’s scored at least 28 DK points in 33-straight games and has reached 50 fantasy points in each of his last four games. San Antonio is not scary either, owning a 21st OPRK against opposing point guards.
- DeMar DeRozan (SAS) $7,900: Sacramento has the worst defensive rating in the NBA, so we have to love taking San Antonio’s best player against them. That happens to be DeRozan, with the All-Star snub averaging over 39 fantasy points per game.
Notable Players to Fade
- Dillon Brooks (MEM) $5,800: This offense is all about Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas. That has left Brooks with scraps, and shooting is the only way for him to provide value. That’s evident by the fact that he’s averaging 2.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks over his last 11 games played. Those are ugly peripheral averages, and it makes Brooks impossible to trust at this price tag.
- Lauri Markkanen (CHI) $5,000: We were concerned about Lauri before the Bulls traded for Vucevic and Theis, and now we’re running for the hills. He played just 26 minutes in the first game with those two and barely cracked 10 fantasy points. If you’re in a season-long format, Markkanen is close to a flat-out drop.
- Derrick Rose (NYK) $4,900: There are just way too many mouths in New York to feed right now. Julius Randle is obviously the hungriest guy, but Rose has to battle Elfrid Payton, Immanuel Quickley, and Alec Burks in the backcourt for minutes, too. That doesn’t even consider R.J. Barrett, and it seems unlikely that Rose will have many big games from here on out.
