“Hey Mike, why haven’t you released your big board for this year’s NFL Draft yet?” It’s a question I see soon after the fantasy playoffs end, and the answer is simple. I don’t watch college football during the NFL season. With all that we offer in-season, NFL consumes my days Sunday through Friday, so I promise my wife that I’ll be a good husband/dad on Saturdays doing non-football things. So, when the NFL season ends, it’s time to start grinding the film on all of the incoming rookies.

I’ve already gone through 100 of this year’s prospects, though I’m not going to make a list of the top-100 just yet, considering there are some I haven’t even watched who’ll surely make it into that territory, kicking others out. However, I believe my viewing to this point allows me to make a competent top-50 list of prospects. I’ll be updating my big board as the weeks go on, as I get to watch more film and gather more information. Sadly, there will be no NFL Combine this year, but we will have measurements from each player’s Pro Day. Here’s my first look at the 2021 NFL Draft in Big Board fashion.
