As it’s been all year, we have a laundry list of injuries to touch on for Week 8. Between them and bye weeks, there are some interesting names showing up in fantasy starting lineups. There are also some interesting names returning to fantasy football, as Jalen Reagor will play this week, Antonio Brown will make his return in Week 9, and Allen Lazard might also return in Week 9. As usual, I’m here to let you know about the players who are out or highly questionable this week.
OUT
Aaron Jones
Miles Sanders
Joe Mixon
Michael Thomas
Chris Godwin
Jamison Crowder
Deebo Samuel
Emmanuel Sanders
Julian Edelman
Austin Hooper
HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE
Andy Dalton (not expected to play)
Chris Carson (game-time decision)
Carlos Hyde (not expected to play)
Mark Ingram (not expected to play)
Phillip Lindsay
Allen Robinson (not expected to play)
Devonta Freeman (not expected to play)
Whew, that’s a long list. If you’re torn on who to play because of that, here are my updated rankings (that will be adjusted all the way up until kickoff) for this week after learning of all the injuries. If you’d like to know why each player is where they are, I’ve written a full paragraph on every player from every game in The Primer. It’s a weekly article that answers just about any question you might have, and you can read it for FREE right here. If you are still torn, we do a Sunday morning livestream where I answer as many of your questions that I can for a full hour, starting at 11am EST. Here’s the link to that.
