FanDuel NFL Lineup Advice: Week 10 (Full Slate)

FanDuel NFL Lineup Advice: Week 10 (Full Slate)

Once again, it was close but no cigar with my Week 9 FanDuel lineup. While we got strong contributions from Dalvin Cook and Deshaun Watson, lousy performances from Darren Fells and JaMycal Hasty killed us.

Let’s hope for better fortune with my Week 10 FanDuel lineup. This week, I’m going to put my eggs in the Los Angeles Rams basket.

Quarterback

Jared Goff (LAR): $7,400
Full disclosure: Banking on Jared Goff in DFS makes me a little squeamish. But how can you not take a shot on him against a Seattle defense that just gave up 386 passing yards and 44 points to Josh Allen and the Bills? Goff’s kryptonite (besides not having Sean McVay hold his hand) is pressure. Seattle, however, has only 19 sacks and gets pressure on just 20.4% of opponent dropbacks. Goff should have time to carve up this lousy secondary.

Running Backs

Aaron Jones (GB): $8,800
Jones is the anchor this week at tailback. He’ll face a Jaguars defense that is giving up 4.5 yards per rushing attempt and has surrendered 11 touchdowns on the ground. Better yet, Jacksonville’s given up 50 receptions to opposing backs this season. Jones should be in store for a big day.

Gus Edwards (BAL): $5,500
Edwards isn’t flashy, but he’s managed to find the end zone in each of his last three contests. We’ll have to closely monitor the status of Mark Ingram. If he’s out, Edwards offers some cheap upside against a Patriots defense that’s had issues against the run this year.

Wide Receivers

Cooper Kupp (LAR): $7,700
In case you forgot, the Seahawks can’t stop a nosebleed. The Rams offense hasn’t been overly dynamic this season, but I have a feeling Kupp could break his four-game scoreless streak this week. He’s the bigger upside play in the Rams’ receiving group.

Robert Woods (LAR): $7,200
Give me the entire Rams passing game! Okay, I won’t go as far as adding Josh Reynolds or Tyler Higbee. Yet adding Woods to this lineup covers almost all of my bases in this exciting matchup. The Seahawks give up 48 FanDuel points per game to opposing wide receivers. I’m betting on both Woods and Kupp being in line for a huge day. Now, let’s just hope one of the other guys doesn’t have the game of his life against Seattle.

Allen Robinson (CHI): $6,900
I love Allen Robinson, and I feel bad for Allen Robinson. He deserves better than Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky. Nevertheless, I’m taking a shot on A-Rob capitalizing against a Vikings secondary that’s given up the second-most FanDuel points to opposing wide receivers. Minnesota has also surrendered the most touchdowns to receivers this season. Robinson is good enough to overcome his quarterback play in a favorable matchup.

Tight End

Evan Engram (NYG): $5,600
Engram makes me nuts, but he’s gotten 29 targets in his last three games and caught six passes for 46 yards in his first matchup with Philadelphia. I’m banking on a similar stat line with the addition of an end-zone trip.

FLEX

James Robinson (JAX): $7,300
Robinson might be my most consistently used player on FanDuel this year. That’s because he’s extremely reliable; his lowest point total this season has been 7.5 points. Green Bay is quietly giving up the second-most FanDuel points to opposing running backs per week, and Robinson should get another huge workload with Jake Luton starting again at quarterback.

Defense/Special Teams

Chicago Bears: $3,600
The Bears are under a ton of scrutiny because of their offense, but the defense continues to be a strong unit. Against Kirk Cousins in primetime, Chicago’s opportunistic unit comes at a great price.
