There are times where the week gets away from you and you don’t have time to pay much attention to injuries/news throughout the week. If this week was one of those for you, there was a lot you missed. We found out on Friday that Tom Brady essentially got Antonio Brown signed to the Bucs on a one-year deal. He can’t play until Week 9, but it’s still something you need to know about. You also need to know about the injuries, so let’s recap them as we always do.
OUT
Michael Thomas
Emmanuel Sanders
John Brown
Sammy Watkins
Joe Mixon
Raheem Mostert (was placed on IR)
Austin Hooper
HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE
DeAndre Hopkins (game-time decision)
Jamison Crowder (doubtful to play)
Aaron Jones (game-time decision)
Justin Jackson (game-time decision)
If you’re torn on who to play because of those, here are my updated rankings (that will be adjusted all the way up until kickoff) for this week after learning of all the injuries. If you’d like to know why each player is where they are, I’ve written a full paragraph on every player from every game in The Primer. It’s a weekly article that answers just about any question you might have, and you can read it fo FREE right here. If you are still torn, we do a Sunday morning livestream where I answer as many of your questions that I can for a full hour, starting at 11am EST. Here’s the link to that.
