Q1. Who has the greatest sleeper potential in Round 7?

If you’re looking for a potential breakout in this category, Marquise Brown is it. The lack of volume in the offense has him falling to the seventh round, so it’s already baked into his cost. He was recovering from Lisfranc surgery last offseason, which definitely hurt his production as a rookie, though he did flash at times. He’s healthy and has the upside of someone like DeSean Jackson from back in the early 2010s if this team starts throwing a bit more.

Tyler Boyd is someone I’m getting on a ton of my rosters this season. At WR33, he’s an incredible value and should be one of Joe Burrow‘s favorite targets right away. Boyd’s dominant out of the slot and the return of AJ Green should only help this season. This team should have to throw the ball a significant amount this season, which just leads to more fantasy opportunity for these receiving options. Boyd is going to drastically outproduce his ADP this season.

Matt Ryan was having an outstanding season before he suffered an ankle injury. Even with his second-half decline, he led the league in pass completions and was fifth in passing yards. He’s now got a better offensive line, another year of development from Calvin Ridley, and Todd Gurley as his running back. Even at his advanced age, if he bounces back at all from his 7.3 YPA and 4.2% touchdown rate last year, then in Dirk Koetter’s system he could have a monstrous year.

Q2. Who has the greatest bust potential in Round 7?

You wouldn’t catch me dead drafting Deebo Samuel in the seventh round. He had foot surgery in June… for a broken foot. Kyle Shanahan has already said he’s going to miss games, and that the only question is how many. Do not draft a player with a pick inside the top-10 rounds who might not play. Did we not learn from A.J. Green last year? I know I did.

Sony Michel is the clear cut answer as of right now. He seems destined to start the season on the PUP with the Lamar Miller signing and he’s going to be part of a committee when he does come back onto the field. I’m willing to let Michel fall several rounds before I even consider drafting him, so this is an easy answer here in the 7th round.
– Kyle Yates (@KyleYNFL)

I would have said Sony Michel even before the Lamar Miller signing, but now, it’s obvious. Even if Michel avoids starting the year on the PUP list, he’s still coming off fairly recent foot surgery and looks to be, at best, part of a committee with Miller, Rex Burkhead, Damien Harris, and James White. He’s next to a zero in the passing game and even if – and it’s a big if – even if he is considered the “goal-line back,” the presence of Cam Newton will undoubtedly siphon away carries near the end zone. I wouldn’t draft Michel within two rounds of his late-seventh round ADP.
