Other Helpful Fantasy Info
- Park Factor: 105 (league average is 100)
- Green Light Rating: LOW
- Scheduling, the good: While we don’t know what will happen with scheduling, any time the Blue Jays play the Orioles is good. The Blue Jays also have a stretch in what is now June that features the Mariners, Tigers, Pirates, Brewers, and end at home against the Angels and White Sox.
- Scheduling, the bad: A stretch in August (at least currently) features four on the road against the Astros sandwiched between series against the Rays, and then interleague games against the Cubs and Cardinals. After that, they get the Yankees and Royals on the road.
- Likeliest 2020 roster moves: Nate Pearson will likely be in the rotation within a month of the season starting. I’m also expecting Rowdy Tellez to replace Travis Shaw or Derek Fisher in the lineup due to ineffectiveness by one or both of those players.
- Bold Fantasy Prediction: Nate Pearson comes up within a month of the season starting and is the best AL rookie pitcher. He will finish with a sub-3.75 ERA, sub-1.25 WHIP, and strike out nearly a batter per inning.
- Bland Fantasy Prediction: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. breaks out one year later than expected, posting 30+ HR and a .300 average with a combined 190 runs and RBI, making him a top-20 hitter.
