Saturday night’s schedule features a six-game slate, five of which are included in the main tip-off at 7:00 p.m. EST, and one which tips off at 5:00 p.m. EST for the all-day slate. The Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Portland Trail Blazers are all operating on a back-to-back.

Trae Young (PG – ATL): $10,100 @ MEM
Young missed Friday night’s contest due to an illness. He’s listed as questionable tonight as he is still battling the same issue. If he can suit up, he’s got a good matchup in the Grizzlies which rank 17th in defensive rating and 7th in pace. This contest is one of the pacier options on the night, and that carries significant value for a player that ranks 4th in the NBA in usage rate like Young does. If the Young star (no pun intended) suits up tonight, expect to see a strong performance.

Ja Morant (PG – MEM): $6,800 vs. ATL
The other side of the matchup is another one of my listed players, and a majority of it has to do with the Hawks presenting a beautiful matchup for any DFS player. The Hawks rank 28th in defensive rating and 6th in pace. Morant has been somewhat of a mixed bag lately, failing to reach value in his last three games, but erupted for 41.25 and 59.5-point performances the two games prior. His price tag has slowly dropped, and the matchup presented tonight provides the flashy rookie with every opportunity he needs to bounce back.
Kevin Huerter (SG – ATL): $5,600 @ MEM
If you’re a player who likes to ride the hot hand, then Huerter is your guy. In his last four games, Huerter has exceeded value in each, with the last three all finishing with performances above 32 points. Huerter hasn’t played less than 33 minutes in any of his last four contests, is scoring the ball at a decent rate, and his price tag hasn’t even increased over the timespan. He also benefits from the same matchup as Young.
Dillon Brooks (SG – MEM): $4,900 vs. ATL
Outside of one stinker two games ago against the Brooklyn Nets, Brooks has been a solid contributor, managing to hover right around value nearly every game. Brooks could stand to see more playing time and doesn’t carry the ceiling many other guys do, but his decreased price tag and tremendous matchup provide him with another opportunity to continue his trend of providing a return of at least value.
Forwards
Tobias Harris (SF – PHI): $8,300 @ GS
Harris is likely to be one of the chalkier options on the night with the Philadelphia 76ers slated to miss Josh Richardson, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid for tonight’s contest against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are still a strong matchup for opposing teams, ranking 24th in defensive rating and 11th in pace. Harris’ ceiling is sky-high with the lack of stars on the 76ers, and his matchup should lead to a strong performance.
Al Horford (PF – PHI): $6,600 @ GS
Horford has had an incredibly strange debut season with the 76ers but has been a strong per-minute producer when guys like Simmons and Embiid have been sidelined regardless. Once again operating out of the starting lineup, Horford has produced strong numbers in his last five games and scored 41.3 DraftKings points against the Warriors earlier this season.
Mike Scott (PF – PHI): $4,300 @ GS
If you don’t want to pay up for Horford at the four-spot, you can elect to go with his teammate in Scott, another player in the starting lineup which is likely to provide a ton of value at his current price tag. Scott has totaled over 25 points in all of his last three games, far exceeding value. A lot of that has to do with opportunity, as Scott’s minutes and field goal attempts both increased with the myriad of injuries the 76ers are currently dealing with.
Centers
Jonas Valanciunas (C – MEM): $7,300 vs. ATL
As you can probably tell, I’m very intrigued and excited by this contest. Valanciunas is the 5th player I’ve mentioned from this game, and he has the potential to be one of the more potent options. Like his teammates, JV benefits from an incredibly strong matchup and has historically been a fantastic per-minute producer. He also put together a strong performance against the Hawks in his only other matchup against them.
Harry Giles III (C – SAC): $4,400 @ POR
Giles is a decent option for you tonight if you elect to pay down at the big-man spot tonight, though the potential return of Richaun Holmes may throw a wrench in those plans. Still, the matchup against the Trail Blazers is a very good one, and if Giles can see sufficient minutes on the court, he has a chance to produce.
