Monday night’s schedule of games includes a 10-game slate, all of which are included on the main slate which tips off at 7:00 p.m. EST. The Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons are operating on a back-to-back. Expect to see some solid matchups tonight.

Point Guard
Reggie Jackson (PG – DET): $4,500 @ MEM
With the Pistons being one of the two teams operating on a back-to-back, the up-in-the-air status of PG Derrick Rose will play a crucial role in whether Jackson is an option tonight or not. Rose tweaked a groin on Sunday, which opened up 34 minutes of playing time for Jackson, to which he capitalized with 32.6 FanDuel points. Jackson’s price tag is so low and his matchup is a great one as the Memphis Grizzlies rank 20th in defensive rating and 3rd in pace.
Elfrid Payton (PG – NYK): $6,400 @ CLE
Returning from a one-game suspension, Payton has been one of the most consistent DFS players since January 16th. In his past eight games, Payton has scored 30+ FanDuel points seven times, scoring 20.9 points in only one of those contests. The Cleveland Cavaliers have the 2nd-worst defense in the league, and Payton’s steady production is a solid choice on a night that lacks a ton of point guard options.

Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal (SG – WAS): $10,500 vs. GS
There may not be a player with a higher ceiling on tonight’s slate than Beal, and deservedly so. Not only has Beal absolutely dominated in his past four games (52+ FanDuel points in all contests), but he’s playing an incredibly weak team in the current Golden State Warriors, which rank 24th in defensive rating and 12th in pace. This game currently leads the night in implied totals by a wide margin. Beal is currently 6th in the league in usage rate. Don’t expect that number to drop after tonight.
Spencer Dinwiddie (SG – BKN): $7,100 vs. PHO
With Kyrie Irving being ruled out for the next week, Dinwiddie not only slides back into the starting point guard spot, but he becomes a very playable DFS option once again. Dinwiddie’s ceiling is severely capped by Irving, though his absence opens up a ton of production for the all-star snub. The Suns rank 18th in defensive rating and 9th in pace.
Small Forward
Jaylen Brown (SF – BOS): $6,800 @ ATL
Starting PG Kemba Walker is likely to miss tonight’s contest and SG Marcus Smart is currently questionable. Regardless of whether Smart suits up, Brown receives a major boost to his usage and scoring with Walker on the sidelines. Brown is coming off a strong 46.3-point performance, is available for a decent price, and has a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks which rank 28th in defensive rating and 4th in pace.
Glenn Robinson III (SF – GS): $4,500 @ WAS
With this game leading the night in implied totals, you’d be wise to double-dip into the available talent pool, and maybe even consider adding more players from the contest. Robinson doesn’t offer much of a ceiling, but he is a steady contributor, plays a solid number of minutes, and opposes the Washington Wizards tonight. The Wizards rank 30th in defensive rating and 6th in pace.
Power Forward
Jayson Tatum (PF – BOS): $7,900 @ ATL
Not only does Brown receive a boost with Kemba sidelined, but Tatum does as well. Tatum is a high-ceiling player who has no issues filling up a stat sheet across the board. The matchup is obviously a great one, with Tatum benefiting from the same plus matchups that Brown will receive. I’d fire up both of them with confidence tonight.
Draymond Green (PF – GS): $6,200 @ WAS
Green has been incredibly inconsistent this season, though it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering what the Warriors have gone through thus far. Still, Green is a defensive savant that has an incredibly easy matchup tonight against the Wizards. The contest between the Warriors and Wizards is a gold-mine for DFS players on a slate such as tonights.
Center
Mitchell Robinson (C – NYK): $5,400 @ CLE
Please ensure Robinson is good to play tonight as he’s currently listed as probable due to a sore hamstring that limited him to only 19 minutes in his last game. Robinson – like Green – has been an inconsistent DFS player this season, but carries a relatively high ceiling for a player of his price tag. The main issue for Robinson has been his inconsistent playing time, though if healthy, he should be able to register a decent amount against a terrible team such as the Cavaliers.
