Tonight’s slate features a strong 10-game lineup, all of which are included on the main slate which tips off at 7:00 p.m. EST. Only the Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder are operating on a back-to-back. Adjust your lineups accordingly.

Point Guard
Spencer Dinwiddie (PG – BKN): $7,300 @ ATL
Arguably the most fruitful contest on tonight’s slate is the matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks. Dinwiddie – who is once again starting at PG in place of Kyrie Irving – is at the center of it all. The All-Star snub has faired decently lately, lacking one of the big explosions we’ve become accustomed to seeing from the former sixth-man, but he has a good opportunity to change that tonight going against the Hawks which rank 28th in defensive rating and 7th in pace.

Trae Young (PG – ATL): $9,700 vs. BKN
On the other side of the same matchup is a budding superstar in Young, who is likely to be a popular option on tonight’s slate. Not only does he play a ton of minutes (36+ in his past four games), but he’s a scoring machine that racks up assists at a high rate and can chip in on the boards and defensively. The Nets are actually a tough defense, but the pace in this game is going to be rapid, with the Nets ranking 10th in the league in that regard. Expect a lot of offensive opportunities for both sides.
Shooting Guard
Donovan Mitchell (SG – UTA): $7,300 vs. WAS
If the Washington Wizards are playing, you would be wise to target somebody who opposes them. For me, there is no more attractive option than Spida Mitchell. Not only is Mitchell the best player on the Utah Jazz, but he’s riding a hot streak as he’s totaled 47.8+ FanDuel points in his last two contests, and 39.9+ in his last three. The Wizards rank 30th in defensive rating, 4th in pace, and the Jazz have the 2nd highest implied total of the night thus far.
Caris LeVert (SG – BKN): $7,200 @ ATL
Playing both LeVert and Dinwiddie probably isn’t an option for most people, but the matchup leads me to believe both guys can coincide and have success tonight. LeVert is coming off a spectacular 62.7-point performance in his last game against the Wizards and has really taken his game to the next level since the All-Star break. LeVert’s price tag doesn’t reflect his ceiling, and on a night like tonight against a defense like the Hawks, he’ll receive all the opportunities he needs to potentially reach that ceiling.
Small Forward
Mikal Bridges (SF – PHO): $5,000 vs. DET
Bridges has firmly cemented his spot in the starting five with the recent injury news to starting SF Kelly Oubre Jr. Bridges’ ceiling is capped as he just doesn’t score a ton of points offensively, but he possesses a strong defensive prowess, routinely collecting a handful of steals in each contest. Since defensive stats are a premium on FanDuel, and the Phoenix Suns do play a team devoid of talent in the Detroit Pistons, I would expect a decent a chance for Bridges to return value on this slate.
Danilo Gallinari (SF – OKC): $5,700 @ MIL
Gallinari is one of the stranger plays on my lineup tonight, though I do believe he can have moderate success against the league’s best defense. Sure, Gallo isn’t likely to go off and collect a season-high in points, but somebody on the Oklahoma City Thunder needs to score to keep this game competitive, and the focus of the Bucks’ defense will likely be shifted towards guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Gallinari is a consistent player which routinely hovers around value. Expect the same outcome tonight.
Power Forward
Zion Williamson (PF – NO): $8,000 vs. CLE
It’s absolutely no secret why Zion was drafted 1st overall by the New Orleans Pelicans, and he displays it in some form or fashion every time he touches the court. In his last three contests, Zion has topped 37.3+ FanDuel points each game and has totaled 40+ points twice in that same span. His salary is slowly beginning to rise – appropriately, but it has yet to catch up to his exorbitant ceiling. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a very good matchup to boot, ranking 29th in defensive rating.
Harry Giles III (PF – SAC): $4,800 @ MEM
Giles is expected to draw another start tonight, but it hasn’t mattered whether he’s started or come off the bench in recent times as Giles has been productive either way. There probably hasn’t been a better stretch this season for Giles than his last three contests, all of which resulted in 29.1+ point-performances. The matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies is also a major positive for Giles tonight, as they rank 19th in defensive rating and 6th in pace.
Center
Tristan Thompson (C – CLE): $5,000 @ NO
As it stands, starting C Andre Drummond is being listed as “out” due to a calf injury, meaning Thompson is likely to draw another start at the center spot. In his last game, Thompson totaled 37.6 FanDuel points as the starting center, proving there is still some intrigue that surrounds the veteran. The matchup eases up considerably with the Pelicans ranking 22nd in defensive rating and 3rd in pace. Expect Thompson to reach value with a chance at potentially crushing on tonight’s slate.
