Guards
Luka Doncic (PG – DAL): $10,200 @ ATL
Coming to no surprise, Doncic dominated in his first game back post-all-star break, totaling 62 DraftKings points on a 33-point performance. The young superstar nearly triple-doubled in the contest, coming up two assists shy of the mark, yet still dominated in a very tough matchup, all but proving he is matchup proof. The matchup eases up considerably tonight against the Atlanta Hawks which rank 28th in defensive rating and 6th in pace. Leaving Luka out of your lineup tonight is akin to playing with fire: don’t do it.
Spencer Dinwiddie (PG – BKN): $7,700 @ CHA
Starting PG Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, and that is a major positive for a potential all-star snub in Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie’s value directly coincided with Irving’s availability, though that will no longer be an issue this season. Dinwiddie’s usage rate skyrockets with Irving sidelined and he has proven he is a reliable starter and budding star as the starting point guard. In his last four games, Dinwiddie has managed to top 41+ DraftKings points three times, with the lowest-scoring contest landing at 39 points, all of which hit value. The matchup tonight against the 26th-ranked defense in the Charlotte Hornets is a positive environment for Dinwiddie and his Brooklyn Nets.

Cam Reddish (SG – ATL): $4,100 vs. DAL
As the best perimeter/wing defender on the Hawks, Reddish will likely be tasked with guarding Doncic in tonight’s contest between these two teams, ensuring a boatload of playing time for the rookie wing. Reddish did not fare well in his first – and only – contest against the Mavericks, though he was limited to only seven minutes of playing time in that contest. In his last three games, Reddish has managed to hit value and crushed in his most recent game, totaling 31 DraftKings points. The matchup against the 18th-ranked defense in the Mavericks is only average.
Terry Rozier (PG – CHA): $5,300 vs. BKN
Rozier is a tough player to peg in DFS, but he has had considerable success against the Nets this season, averaging 30.9 DraftKings points in three contests between the teams. As his salary continues to drop – and rapidly – Rozier is starting to finally level out in relation to his price tag and value. The Nets are a tough defense, but this is a major pace-up spot for the Hornets.
Forwards
Kelly Oubre Jr. (SF – PHO): $6,600 @ CHI
Oubre is having a breakout season with the Phoenix Suns, though his production has cooled off a bit recently. Still, he plays a ton of minutes, shot the ball 15 and 16 times in the past two contests (on rough percentages, so expect some positive regression there), and faces a battered and bruised Chicago Bulls roster tonight. Throughout the season, the Bulls have actually been a tough defense, but they look to be starting three backups in tonight’s contest against the Suns.
Thaddeus Young (PF – CHI): $5,600 vs. PHO
One of the backups starting for the Bulls in this contest is the veteran Young, who is coming off a fantastic 48.3-point performance against the Hornets. Young is capable of contributing across the board statistically, and the Suns present a decent matchup as they rank 19th in defensive rating and 9th in pace. The Bulls are simply running out of available bodies, which is why they could present a solid source of value on tonight’s slate.
Jae Crowder (SF – MIA): $4,800 vs. CLE
Since being acquired by the Miami Heat, Crowder has flipped the page from average to a solid contributor, though his price tag is beginning to reflect his improvement in play. In his past four games, Crowder has managed to reach value three times, coming up just shy in the remaining contest. The matchup tonight is an intriguing one as the Cavaliers are putrid defensively, ranking 29th in defensive rating.
Centers
Kristaps Porzingis (C – DAL): $8,000 @ ATL
You should have no issues if you choose to double-dip in the well that is the Mavericks on tonight’s slate. Porzingis has typically struggled this season playing alongside a healthy Luka, but the page may have been turned after a strong 56.5-point performance in yesterday’s contest against the Orlando Magic. This game currently leads the night in implied totals, giving me confidence in most of the plays between the two franchises.
Rudy Gobert (C – UTA): $7,800 vs. HOU
The Jazz are not a team you typically want to target on a DFS landscape, but the lack of a true center (P.J. Tucker) and the pace of the Houston Rockets really provide Gobert with quite an atmosphere. Sure, the Jazz are a slow-paced team, but the Rockets present a major pace-up spot. Not only that, but Gobert is a rim-protecting machine who’s topped 14+ rebounds in six straight games. He’s got the potential to do a lot of damage in the paint tonight.
