Monday’s schedule contains a six-game slate, all of which are scheduled to tip-off on the main slate at 7:00 p.m. EST. The San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and Orlando Magic are all operating on a back-to-back.

Point Guard
Derrick Rose (PG – DET): $7,800 vs. CLE
Continuing his strong play in recent games, Rose dominated in his last contest against the Brooklyn Nets to the tune of 45.8 FanDuel points. Rose has scored 20+ points in real life in every game since January 2nd, proving just how consistent his output has been. Heading into tonight, the matchup presented for Rose and the Detroit Pistons is a positive one as the Cleveland Cavaliers rank 29th in defensive rating, but also only 24th in pace. The game is going to be one of the less pacey options on the night, but picking your spots effectively will surely lead to some value plays tonight.
De’Aaron Fox (PG – SAC): $7,700 @ MIN
Fox is coming off a strong 40.7-point performance in his last contest in only 24 minutes of playing time. One of the more consistent threats in the past three weeks, Fox has re-established himself as a star after an injury knocked his season off course. The Minnesota Timberwolves present a decent matchup for the Sacramento Kings, ranking 16th in defensive rating and 6th in pace. As it currently stands, this game leads the night in implied totals. If the matchup doesn’t entice you, the injury situation might. Starting PF Marvin Bagley and C Richaun Holmes are expected to miss the contest.

Shooting Guard
Donovan Mitchell (SG – UTA): $7,600 vs. HOU
Mitchell’s price tag is slowly beginning to rise again, though it’s still lower than it should be with Spida’s capabilities on the court. Coming off a 43.1-point performance, Mitchell has been a volatile option recently, but gets a great matchup tonight against the Rockets which rank 15th in defensive rating and 2nd in pace. One thing to note: The Rockets have a good chance at missing both Russell Westbrook and James Harden in the contest.
Buddy Hield (SG – SAC): $6,300 @ MIN
Just recently, Hield was moved to the bench in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic, changing his role from starter to sixth-man. It hasn’t done much in terms of dampening Hield’s output as the two-guard scored 33.1 FanDuel points in his latest contest, but that came on reduced playing time (22 minutes). Hield benefits from the same matchup as Fox, though he’ll need to do his damage coming off the bench.
Small Forward
Eric Gordon (SF – HOU): $4,400 @ UTA
With Westbrook and Harden potentially missing tonight’s contest, Gordon – and a handful of his teammates – receive major bumps in their potential as playable options tonight. In his past three games, Gordon has scored 28+ FanDuel points in each, with two performances landing in the 30+ point range. With a lack of scoring options for the Rockets tonight, expect Gordon to get all the usage rate he could handle. The matchup against the Utah Jazz is a bad one, but Gordon’s price tag and potential usage supersede the tough environment.
Bojan Bogdanovic (SF – UTA): $5,800 vs. HOU
Bogdanovic is another of the potential Jazz players that could be in your lineups tonight. The sharpshooter doesn’t offer a crazy ceiling as his game is limited to mostly three-point shooting, but Bogdanovic has been largely consistent as a scoring threat, and that should continue tonight against a team that operates with such a tremendous pace as the Rockets do.
Power Forward
Thaddeus Young (PF – CHI): $5,500 vs. SA
Since being re-introduced into the starting lineup, the veteran has been solid-but-unspectacular, though that is exactly what we’re looking for with Young. Young has scored 27.6 FanDuel points in both of his last two games, on the backs of 29 and 34 minutes of playing time. As long as the vet continues to register playing time in/near the 30-minute mark, he should have a strong shot at returning value. The San Antonio Spurs also rank 22nd in defensive rating and 13th in pace.
P.J. Tucker (PF – HOU): $4,100 @ UTA
Like Gordon, Tucker is one of the Rockets players who will benefit from their slew of potential benched starters tonight. Tucker plays as many minutes as any player in the league, though his output (specifically offensively) is incredibly weak. Still, Tucker is a defensive savant with the ability to rack up points by rebounding the ball and playing lockdown defense.
Center
Andre Drummond (C – DET): $10,500 vs. CLE
Last but not least, is big Drummond at the five-spot. There are a handful of good options at the center spot tonight, but none are more dominant on a consistent basis than Drummond. Drummond is coming off a 20-point and 20-rebound double-double in which he totaled 53.2 FanDuel points. As I mentioned above with Rose, the Cavaliers have the 2nd worst defense in the league, which should be enough of a factor for Drummond to abuse tonight.
