On tonight’s schedule for the NBA is a 10-game slate, all of which is included in the main tip-off at 7:00 p.m. EST. No teams are operating on a back-to-back, ensuring all teams have had a chance to rest their players, leading you to optimize your lineups appropriately.

Point Guard
Trae Young (PG – ATL): $10,000 @ WAS
The game that features Young – the Atlanta Hawks versus the Washington Wizards – leads the night in implied scoring totals by a decent margin. This contest is a gold mine and one that most people will find a way to target in many fashions. Young is coming off a strong four-game streak, though his most recent contest resulted in 72.6 FanDuel points, coming on the back of a triple-double and 42 real-life points. The Wizards present a golden opportunity for Young to continue his streak as they rank 30th in defensive rating and 4th in pace. If the matchup or Young’s consistency didn’t entice you enough, I should note that Young is currently 4th in the NBA in usage rate, and doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

Dejounte Murray (PG – SA): $5,900 @ MEM
Since returning from a one-game absence, Murray has totaled 31.8 and 29.4 FanDuel points in his two most recent contests. A pillar of consistency and a player that is capable of filling up the stat sheet – including defensively, Murray offers a high ceiling and has always been a strong per-minute producer in the DFS realm. The matchup tonight is a good one as the Memphis Grizzlies rank 24th in defensive rating and 3rd in pace. Expect Murray – and his San Antonio Spurs teammates – to do well in this contest.
Shooting Guard
J.J. Redick (SG – NO): $4,900 @ NY
Starting SG Jrue Holiday is going to miss tonight’s contest against the New York Knicks, which increases the intrigue and value for the remainder of the New Orleans Pelicans’ starting five. Redick is arguably the biggest beneficiary as he’s totaled 27.1, and 36.8-point performances in the absences of Holiday. Redick is not a player with a high ceiling, but he has an incredibly high floor and is likely better suited for cash tournaments as opposed to GPP’s. Still, the New York Knicks are a solid matchup as they rank 26th in defensive rating, and even though they only rank 20th in pace, this contest will result in a pace-up spot for the Knicks.
Delon Wright (SG – DAL): $4,500 vs. LAL
In his last two contests, Wright received starters minutes, playing a total of 24 and 31 minutes. His production matched his increase in playing time as he totaled 25.7 and 27.2 FanDuel points in those two contests. Tonight, Wright is expected to draw the start at the two-spot, and although the matchup is a bad one, the Dallas Mavericks are missing some key players, most notably PF Kristaps Porzingis. That opens up more minutes and opportunities for a player like Wright, who ultimately scores high-point totals in FanDuel due to great defensive play and not by being an offensive savant.
Small Forward
Troy Brown Jr. (SF – WAS): $5,700 vs. ATL
I had to return to the well which is the Hawks and Wizards contest, though I’m taking a look at the opposing side of the matchup in the Wizards’ Brown this time around. Brown has bounced between the sixth-man/bench and starter roles, though the majority of his dominating performances have come off the bench. The status of SG Bradley Beal has yet to be announced, but he’s currently listed as questionable. Beal’s status is key in this contest, and could ultimately result in Brown receiving a start if he’s a no-go. Still, Brown is coming off a strong 47.1-point performance and had another 48.3-point performance just one game prior. The Hawks are a tremendous matchup to boot, ranking 28th in defensive rating and 8th in pace.
Brandon Ingram (SF – NO): $9,400 vs. NY
Ingram has a pinky ailment, but it hasn’t kept him out of any of his most recent contests, most of which have resulted in incredibly productive performances. Ingram’s last two contests both ended in 55+ point-performances, proving just how dominant he’s been in the absence of Holiday and in general since being traded. The good news today is that Holiday has once again been ruled out and the Knicks are bad defensively, providing Ingram with another opportunity for a massive night.
Power Forward
John Collins (PF – ATL): $8,300 @ WAS
If Young isn’t the easiest play of the night, then Collins is. The Wizards have been brutal at defending big-men all season, are terrible defensively as a whole, play a fast pace – as do the Hawks, and the game leads the night in implied total. If all of that wasn’t enough to get you to buy in on Collins, just look at his last performance, in which he totaled 46.8 FanDuel points. The pairing of Young and Collins has major tournament-winning upside tonight, even if they result in chalky options.
Nemanja Bjelica (PF – SAC): $4,800 vs. MIL
The injury statuses of multiple players for the Sacramento Kings are going to be key tonight, so ensure you keep an eye on their injury report. Thus far, Richaun Holmes has been ruled out, Bogdan Bogdanovic is expected to miss the contest, and Marvin Bagley III is questionable. In the event that all three players miss tonight’s game, Bjelica becomes an awesome low-priced starting option for the Kings. His most recent contest saw Bjelica register 38 minutes of playing time, resulting in a 35.9-point performance. Expect a strong game from the big man if his teammates are down-and-out tonight.
Center
Montrezl Harrell (C – LAC): $6,500 vs. GS
The Golden State Warriors have been putrid at defending big-men this season, providing Trez with every opportunity to go off in tonight’s contest. Even though he won’t be starting, Trez has been a problem (in a good way) off the bench all season, proving to be a strong per-minute producer with the ability to stuff the stat sheet. The Warriors rank 21st in defensive rating and 14th in pace, moonlighting just how strong the matchup is. Not only that, but starting SF Paul George has been ruled out, and that could potentially lead to a few more offensive opportunities for Trez.
