Aaron Holiday (PG – IND): $5,600 @ ATL
With starting PG Malcolm Brogdon out due to a back injury, Holiday gets inserted into the starting lineup for the Indiana Pacers, making him an intriguing play tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. Holiday has played well recently outside of his last contest in which he only totaled 20 DraftKings points, but that had to do with a lack of playing time (20 minutes) due to foul trouble. The Hawks are one of the best matchups in the league as they rank 28th in defensive rating and 8th in pace. Feel free to fire up Holiday and his teammates in this pace-up spot.

Jamal Murray (PG – DEN): $7,500 @ WAS
Just like Holiday, Murray is in a major pace-up spot tonight against the Washington Wizards, which ranks 30th in defensive rating and 3rd in pace. Basically, all Denver Nuggets players are a go, especially the electric Murray who is coming off a strong 41.75-point performance against the Pacers. Murray will be given plenty of opportunities to score points and create offensively in this contest.
De’Aaron Fox (PG – SAC): $8,600 vs. NO
If anybody is coming in hot tonight, it’s Fox who is coming off an incredible 59.5-point performance two nights ago against the Memphis Grizzlies. Fox totaled 27 real-life points in that game with a boatload of ancillary stats. Tonight’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans is a positive one as the Pelicans rank 26th in defensive rating and 7th in pace.
Derrick White (PG – SA): $4,200 @ MIL
Starting PG Dejounte Murray has been ruled out of this contest, bringing more intrigue to a player like Derrick White as he is now slated to start. White is an incredibly consistent player who generally hovers around value, though he has a shot to crush tonight at such a cheap price tag. The matchup is actually a terrible one as the Milwaukee Bucks are the best defense in the NBA, but the minuscule price tag on a player who will likely register 30+ minutes is hard to resist.
Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF – MIL): $11,500 vs. SA
The Bucks currently lead the slate with the highest implied total for the night, which should come as no surprise. The man in the middle of it all is the Greek Freak. Giannis’ price tag is enormous and there are some other star-studded options on this slate, but the Greek Freak stands out in a league of his own with basically only playing time hindering him. The San Antonio Spurs are a positive matchup as they rank 20th in defensive rating and 13th in pace, but as always, you’ll have to hope for a competitive game as the blowout potential with the Bucks is always a real issue.
Dorian Finney-Smith (SF – DAL): $5,100 vs. CHA
Starting PF Kristaps Porzingis is expected to miss tonight’s contest with a knee injury, and that is why Finney-Smith becomes a playable option on this slate. Finney-Smith’s upside is capped as he generally doesn’t top 26+ DraftKings points, but his workload should be quite large tonight in terms of both minutes and hustle statistics. The Charlotte Hornets aren’t a bad matchup either as they rank 27th in defensive rating, but only 29th in pace.
Will Barton (SF – DEN): $7,300 @ WAS
Barton benefits from the same positive matchup that Murray does, and that is the reason they both make the list on tonight’s slate. Quietly, Barton has become an absolute model of consistency as he’s managed to score between 31+ DraftKings points in six of his last seven games. Barton will have plenty of opportunities to collect points at a premium against a terrible Wizards defense.
Centers
Andre Drummond (C – DET): $9,900 @ GS
One of the potential shoe-ins for tonight’s slate has to be Drummond. With Blake Griffin expected to miss the game and the matchup against the Golden State Warriors, Drummond is set up in the perfect position to post a big performance. The Warriors have been very bad at defending big men all season and rank 23rd in defensive rating an 15th in pace. Not only that, but Drummond’s name has risen in trade rumors around the league, potentially adding another chip on the shoulder for the monster in the paint.
Dwight Powell (C – DAL): $5,200 vs. CHA
Just like his teammate in Finney-Smith, Powell receives a great benefit with the potential absence of Porzingis tonight. Powell is coming off an 11.75-point stinker, though he has generally been solid-but-unspectacular otherwise. Still, for a cheap price tag, you could do worse than a center who will likely register 30+ minutes of playing time against a weak defense in the Hornets.
